How wonderful to have such a great happy family life . Bonne chance with your daughter's new birth. Condolences on the loss of the kits but as you say it happens, and so good of you to talk about all of that difficulty . Rebreeding right away is a good idea. Do consider breeding another doe if you can to foster if necessary as that is a good option. I have found if I feed calf manna to mom about 1 tsp - 1 tbsp every day throughout gestation and then lactation , that they always have lots of milk. It is an all puprpose performance feed and they thrive on it - pricey but worth it. Increase it during lactation for amount depending.on number of kits. Also before I found calf manna years ago, one very old remedy was to put a bit of dissolved jello in mom's water so she will drink more and this increases milk production as well. Thanks for this lovely and informative video and sharing of the new replacement formula. Always great to have this info and a product to have on hand . . I will pass on your video link to those newbies of mine who get new buns, as I have no interest in adding one more thing to the bunny venture. But you do such a great job of it .
