Just saved me from having to buy a new one and adding needlessly to landfill. Fix it videos are the best - thank you! Never would have guessed it was that simple.
Be amazed!!! Mine has lasted 20 yrs. Just replaced the impeller today. After reading most of the comments. I am thrilled I don’t have to buy a new one.
Wow 20 years is insane for a tool nowadays! I think the only tools I have that are that old are the ones I borrowed from my dad and grandad and never gave back 🤣
pro tip, on the back side of the impeller, fill the hollow cavities with portland cement and silicone it up. The hard filler will prevent the high torque of the motor from tearing apart the plastic again.
Thanks, you got lucky, Apparently Toro's electric corded leaf blower's live only months past the warranty! Planned Obsolescence? My Toro Power Jet F700 died two-(2) months past the 2-year warranty! I hope I can fix it: I quit using it because sparks were arcing inside when I looked in the exhaust: I hope I can insulate the wires or swap out the wires.

Good video straight to the point thank you.
mine is about 40 years now…just started making noise ….will order the part ..thx
Wow 40 years you definitely got your use out of that thing!
Did you have a washer in between the blade and blower?
"I guess you could do it sober, but it's just so boring" +1
My powerjet doesn't have a replacement impeller that I can find
How do you take out the blade? I want mine to just suck up sticks.
If it didn’t have a blade, how would it “suck”?
Thank you, sir.
Glad it helped!
"drunken leaf blowing" - HA! Please don't drink and operate heavy equipment ! lol
