That looks so cool. I was going to do a basic one jump in the UK but I think you've just encouraged me to go to Dubai and get my A licence. I've got the cash so it's just a case of getting my wife to agree me being away for a couple of weeks.

No. I completed all of the theory and passed 100%. There was a small concern about the PLF (parachute landing fall), which comes towards the end of the theory, as l have a total left hip replacement. I contacted the surgeon who did the operation and he said he never tells anyone not to do anything except parachute jumps and skydiving. If l had one bad landing it could break or dislocate my replaced hip which cost me £16,000 to have replaced with a sport hip. A lot of money to throw down the drain if things went wrong so l got most of my money refunded. I was gutted!

That would be an option l have not really thought about as it's the risk when taking a heavy landing where the problem lies. I could probably get away with tandem jumps as well.
Great video! You always, looked so calm. I booked my AFF course in Dubai, and it will start this Wednesday. The most scariest part is the landing for me. Do you get a lot of training for the landing. For example, how do you find the landing place so easily? I loved the interview at the end with the Spanish women too :-)

Dude this is so cool, I am saving money to join skydive Dubai for AFF, and I plan to learn after this pandemic is over. Can you tell me how long the whole process from registration to solo dive takes?

@@lolanobiting8238 went really well couldn't finish the AFF because I had to repeat a couple of jumps which kinda messed up my budget. But overall an amazing experience.
I am going again later this year.

@@AM.Boxing I don't think they are open during summers. The dropzone will be closed between may-september. Once It's open you can just book a slot from their website by filling a form and paying an initial amount of approx 3000 AED.
