Making Progress as an Intermediate Surfer (POV)

Surfing bad waves (wether wonky, sloppy or weak) is a great way to progress! Even though it often feels like the opposite in the moment, you are learning. And you may only realize it a few sessions down the road.
I used to pull out when a section would close out in front of me. I have instead been focusing on hitting the lip of those sections lately. After a lot of unsuccessful attempts, I finally landed my first finishing manoeuvres that day!
Shot on the DJI Osmo Action 4, 2.7K (4:3) at 60FPS, with RockSteady.
Board : Olaïan Shortboard 900, 5'10", 30L.
Location : South West France.
