It would be awesome if Rawice or someone else made a fully metal and no plastic version of the hidden blade.
We’re looking into it, so we will definitely be releasing metal ones in the future! They’re just expensive as hell to produce the way we want them 😂
@@RAWICE511 sounds like you're doing it right though, too many products release unfinished or low quality. If a metal one comes out and doesn't sell out in an hour ill buy one!
@@whipwalka absolutely! I didn't wanna go the cheap route and do the layered laser cut ones that I see most shops do and I want to be able to make mine available at a good price and be premium in quality! So just got to wait a bit longer till I can find a workshop that's willing to do them at a good price :D

"imdeepain reborn" makes aluminium hidden blades, and in my opinion the best hidden blades that I've ever seen. The dude is an engineer who designed his own mechanism. But they are really expensive.

@@camtron1967 currently not at this stage, possibly once I do a V3 I will put them up! main reason being I had a few issues of people downloading the old ones and reselling them on other websites :(

I found that putting the ring on your thumb is better as you get to keep more back and forth dexterity in your hand as well as the string not getting in the way of holding things like swords.

i think u should look at crash makerspace and the hidden blades he makes. The hidden blades he makes look much more comfortable and functional than the one in ur video and i would like to see a review of his hidden blade designs if u have time. Most of the hidden blades look like they would break quite easily which is not fortunate. I also think cthat the blades should be thicker. Because assassins creed hidden blades arent very realistic.

My quest for a relatively cheaper good quality hidden blade continues
My biggest grip is they don't have an all metal steel or titanium version that is battle ready.

@@anibalsepulveda9731 I follow IDP and love his work. I would pick up one of his models even at a higher price if he made more durable material
Rawice is cool and all but after 9 years since unity came out there isn't a phantom blade and i want one made by him it would be better than my official one which degraded over time.
I have made them and sold some, just doing some upgrades which are being tested at the moment! Should be available in the next 1-2 weeks :)

How come ya havent looked into Imdeepainreborn's HB? I find them to be lot more robust in terms of engineering compared to rawice's
Have you purchased one of Imdepainrborn's HB? I like the look of them, but the purchasing process seems a little risky.
@@LibertasVideo Yes actually! I owned their Aguilar model which was a lot older and almost similar to the mechanism of the one shown in the video.
Purchasing process is just paypal business when I did it. Idk if it's changed or anything like that but I didnt go through any issues either. He even offer free repair services so long as ya cover shipping both ways.
It's very cool, but I really hate 3D print lines :(

@@CarpetBanana And that's the difference you pay between a plastic toy and a real weapon. Do you think this is cheap? I went to a CNC workshop here and asked how much it would cost for them to make a metal copy for me, they charged me twice as much as Imdeepainreborn.
