The acoustic guitar sound you can get from this is far better than I expected. Using about 70% of the condenser mic simulation setting (it has a slider for blend), my Faith Jupiter sounds so much like a larger louder version of itself, I've never had a small amp get this close. My friends AER doesn't even get this close at a far higher price. Add in the phantom power for two condenser vocal mics in addition, along with a line or bluetooth input with great control and you have a seriously effective result for our use case.
The Everse 8 I can tell you know is much better. I used to own a StagePas 1K, and this is set up almost identical to the 1K. The Everse 8 may not have the same amount of channels as this StagePas 200, but it more than makes up for it in other areas.
@@BluesCat1980 Yeah but the Everse 8 has NO physical knobs for basic EQ or volume on the channels which is a deal breaker for singer songwriter performances - after I had a gig in the bright sun trying to navigate a touch screen on a JBL I decided I want a few physical knobs.
@greendrinkguy1882 you are right, the yamaha does not do this, however they are pack a better punch, higher SPL and also i persoanlly think yamaha sound better than bose.
Why should I go to that extra expense when some the competitors include a reverb switch . Personally, I like Yamaha products- sadly this one misses the mark with the competition. @@ichibandude
@@kevinoconner1986 I have a lot of effect pedals and mixers, so I personally don't care about built-in effects. As long as the speaker sounds better than competitors, it's all good.

Could this run 2 guitars and 2 vocals at the same time??
Is the reverb footswitchable?
No foot switch for reverb 😔
Compare it to the Everse.

@@DrJoshGuitar They have an app you can control all that.
I own ev8 but I am tempting to the stage 200 if better sound quality. ev8 in my view is better than bose but I have not compared with stage 200.
@@eddie_yuanshen how is situation now? Have you tried Yamaha?
This or bose s1🙂?
I was wondering the same thing
I was impressed with StagePas 600 sound and effects quality and if it sound similar with a smaller footprint it can be really cool…
Too bad, no RCA input
With a stereo cable you solve it.
Please do a comparison with the Bose S1 pro
Just sold my two s1 pro and got these, yamaha speakers do not dissappiont !
@@matthewbilton5842 but does the Yamaha throw the sound around 120 degrees sideways like the Bose?

Don't bother... Bose S1 doesn't cut it.
So, no reverb foot-switch🥲
such a shame designers don't consider this, really is a massive ommision :(
@@johneemwould some kind of pedal solve this issue?
Just get a effect pedal...

No battery. Useless
Ummm, 4:07 and it shows a “Battery Check” label on a button on the back. Were you even watching?!
'battery powered speaker' has been said throughout the video multiple times.
It still has a main AC input for power?
