Great video, and i think its very well made for beginners. Some things that could have been added is a few "explanations" on what page threading does, and why its important to do it in the parent pages. Another thing that is also missing but very important is the bleed when using any kind of graphic that stretches all the way to the page boundaries, the bleed is crucial to avoid unwanted thin white border lines when the paper is cut at the press (since the cutting process is never 100% perfect). But despite my "pickiness", this is a great tutorial. Keep it up. :)
Wow! Thank you for such a detailed, yet concise 'how to' on this important feature in InDesign. I went through the lessons in school, using the Adobe CIB and dreaded having to go back and find the sections. You rock, Ashley!
I found your video helpful, however I wish you could explain more of tge steps. I felt i had to keep going back to try and see what you were clicking to do certain things. My indesign looks different, so it would be much mire helpful if you explained each step a little better.
Its a tutorial on "How to Make an InDesign Book Template (Cover & Layout)", in other words the function on the different tools that InDesign offers and how to use them. The title never mentions "How to create GRAPHICS for your book cover", hence the "graphic" part is kept at bare minimum just as an example. She coudlve skipped it completely and the video title would still be relevant to its content.
Good tutorial. However, I think you should sometimes explain a little more about "why" instead of just "what" and "how".
