Yes dye that sucker!!! As much as I enjoy your Case collection, always really cool when you show something different. I really like this big sheepsfoot pattern. Looks great with the swedging. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing brother, I too find these to be of good value for USA made traditional knives, so much so that I picked up all six of them as well as one of the the WSB modern knives. Although I'm not a fan of most of B&S other offerings, I am really digging these large barlows. Hopefully B&S will build on the popularity of these and we will see an improvment in their other products.
Good looking Barlows You can't beat that deal 37.00 I don't know how they sell them so cheap. Bryan did a good comparison today between Bear and RC. Thanks for sharing them Brother
Great video brother!! These ones are definitely making a splash in the knife community!! For the price and being a USA Blade seems like a win win!! Thanks for sharing!!
Hey Andrew, I love the 2 traditional but not a fan of moderns. I love that wood and like you I love a 4" knife - perfect size. I'm going to have to get one of these. Thanks for sharing. Later
Nice set of Barlows that are all a little unique ... something for everyone. A 4" barlow, multiple variations, with decent fit.n.finish, and priced near RCB ... and American made/assembled ? May have to check these out (I have neither owned nor handled a B&S that I am aware). Thanks for the share, Andrew.
These a probably the best fir and finish on any Bear and son ive seen. Better hurry they are selling out fast everywhere. Im guessing they will make more cause they are a hit. Thank you Byron!
These not only scratch the barlow itch, but present a barlow in a size rarely seen. I'm just over the moon about these. BTW, the Heritage knives are always walnut because of its use in early American production. Super old school.
@@BaxtersBlades so far I've got 5. All pinned. I'm pondering the walnut because I've got the rosewood. I'm interested in the D2 models, but already have white bone, and I own several Lionsteel, and two of those Lake Champlain in camo carbon, so the G10 just seems like something already in my collection. I'm also indifferent to damascus, unless it's stainless, and even then... Oh, it's the carbon blades too. Actually old school would be iron bolsters and liner, but if you ask me anything besides chipped obsidian is just modern crap🙃
@@KennethKellogg-kt7bf very cool Kenneth. Those Lions deals are awesome! Smoky Mountain Knife Works list some as Rosewood but I think they're all Walnut I'm not sure though but they look the same. I do prefer the old school pinned ones but I did want to try at least one of the moderns.
@@BaxtersBlades I do like modern traditional, but a pinned knife is a feat of craftsmanship. At a certain point there's no going back. When they're perfect it's almost a magic trick.
Running out fast Mo. If you cannot find one you like i can send you the Carbon walnut one. I dont see the stag bone SS anywhere now. but hopefully they make more when they realize they are so popular.
@@BaxtersBlades no 1 for my oldest grandson and 1 for my wife to give me for my birthday We stopped in there with my son’s family on Spring Break 22 and we spent well over a grand They are so nice
Love these. Where did you buy them? Thinking of picking one up, maybe the stag bone. Kind of anxiety ridden about carbon steel that I won't be able to keep it properly maintained, though.
Carbon steel isn't that bad really depends on the climate that you live in. I wipe the blades off and oil daily after use. I got these from Red Hill Cutlery with a 20% off discount code I can give you. They are about the same price at Smoky Mountain Knife Works and they also have them at Chicago Knife Works. I will send some links.

That is so awesome Jack. I hear you. I only had 3 Bear and son before this and they are great! But they hit the nail on the head with these!
Nice knives. Good to see an American company putting out a good product at a reasonable price.
For sure Todd! Thank you!

Great looking knives. I have the stag bone one. Like uou, I want a carbon blade . That wood one looks really nice
Way better than I expected. And much nicer than the pictures. Wish they made the Stag bone in Carbon steel. But it is still nice.

I’m beginning to like carbon steel bladed slip joints.
Its good stuff Stuart. Easy to oil evey once and a while. Ive never had any rust problems.
I got a carbon steel one the other day. For me, traditionals should only be in CS.
