Great review!! I bought it used and it had some wear on the blade but I put the edge on it and maybe, okay i did put some scratches on it. But I'm glad you carried it and used it. Even though it's discontinued now, I'm making it a regular user. I did buy one "brand new" on eBay and the pivot was pinched to the point of really hard to open. I sent that back and, like you said, "scoured" eBay until I found this one. Great Buckshot bone collection. Check with Randy, but I think you're the last one. Please send a tiger sticker 🙏

Wow they do have some serious walk and talk. Glad to see that some rough riders are extremely well made. On a side note i just snagged a RCB smokey grey bone barlow. Super excited to get my hands on it

That Buckshot is such a great looking design. I do hate the big R on the bolster. I wish they would stop doing that. ☺️. Great video brother and love that slip!!
I have that teardrop in smooth black bone with copper bolsters/liners/shield and a blackwashed blade. Before the R bolster. Yeah its really sharp. Just to play devil's advocate, I'd like to say that the heavy billboarding was happening across the board even in premium brands. It was the thing. Now it's out of style and plain Jane is the deal. Also with R bolster, many RR knives in the day were actually Colt branded made by smkw. License ended and those all reappeared as Rough Ryder's. That's about when the R bolsters appeared. Beyond marketing, I think they didn't want to deviate from the look, and the old Colt line had the coiled snake as a C on the bolsters. Sorry get so wordy

I just hot my 25th Anniversary Case and omg the quality is ridiculous. I was anxious to get it. I will not order another one until the quality changes. Ill show it after I finish the last 3 that was sent of Moderns. I am returning of course but I think i will try a RR just to see what the hype is about. They look nice but I hate writing on the blade unless its a special edition or something.
