I was in so Cal to take the place of a sales rep that was changing job. I had a company car and as driving down PCH on a beautiful winter day. All the patios and balconies were full of live green plants and flowers. I thought oh wouldn't it be great to live here! Then John came on the radio and played this song, I was almost in tears, and it still hits me to this day and I'm driving down PCH again. 4 years later I was tranferred to SoCal and got to be there for 12 years!!!

WOW!!! AWESOME AS ALWAYS!!! This has always been one of my favorite songs from when I was growing up.... I loved listening to John Denver... and his song "Rocky Mountain High" made me dream of living in Colorado one day.... I was actually stationed in Denver, CO for a couple of months while I was in training for my Illustrator Job in the Army Reserves.... learned how to ski in the Rockies.... loved it! Then I decided to go active duty and was stationed at Ft. Carson in Colorado Springs, CO... I loved it there... but now I live in SC and don't miss the snow at all..... lol! Colorado is a beautiful state, I am glad to have had the chance to live there for a while, but now that I am older with health issues, I'm glad I live here in SC.
