    I have been using earth breeze for over a year now, but I'm willing to try breezeo. But here's the thing I would never ever put stained up clothes in the washer without putting my stain remover on them. Which is, perioxde, blue dawn dish liquid, and baking soda these 3 things together always gets whatever is stained right out. I swear by this stuff. It has saved me many, many times over the years.

    You did a great job in comparing brands. So helpful. Of course no one expects makeup and sauce stains to be that awful, so I get the point of your video was to show what the various sheets actually did. Thank you🥰

    To reduce plastics I changed to powdered detergent in the old fashioned cardboard box. Considered going to the sheets for space saving but the cost per load based on this report is too high. I am a senior on a tight budget. Guess I'll just stick with the powdered.
    I pretreat all stains.

    I never put laundry in that has stains like that on it! I pre-treat stains before they go in. I make sure that the whole stain is out before I put it into the laundry. Stuff is just too expensive to let go like that

      One thing I use is original Dawn.
      If it is a greasy stain, I use DEP degreaser, rub it in then follow up with original Dawn dish washing liquid. Rub it in very well. I use this on spaghetti sauce stains. I try to treat as soon as possible. Depending on the stain such as blood, I just rub in dawn and scrub and watch for the stain to start disappearing.. I then scrub under running cold water and repeat with the Dawn. Removing stains is not always easy but I have saved pieces of clothing.

    My favourite is Tru Earth, it's made in North America and not overseas so since the environement is my number one reason for using sheets, that puts it ahead for me. I also use a half sheet for a full load and don't seem to notice any noticable decline in cleanliness.

Also keep in mind if you have hard water vs soft water on how your detergent works. Also Tru Earth is made in Canada. Earth Breeze is from China. I am not familiar with the other 2 brands. I’ve been using sheets and I find that they don’t always dissolve. I was hoping your video would cover dissolving for all 4 brands. I typically find that 20% of the time sheets left soap smears and I had to rewash the items.

    • @CleanFreakGermaphobe
      @CleanFreakGermaphobe  Рік тому +7

      Put them in first, before your clothes. Or tear them up and put them in the space for detergent. Then if they don’t dissolve then they will stay in that compartment. I think different washing machines do better with detergent sheets than others. I’ve not had a problem with them not dissolving. I did dissolve tests on a few brands and learned they are all very different and dissolve differently in hot, warm and cold water.
      I don’t have the links to the tests but they’re on our link to our Amazon shop. You can search the word strips on our videos and see them. Hope this helps!

I got 60 loads of earth breeze sheets, and it cost me the same price.
