    Hi Mark and Abby. Thank you for loving our Pinoy dishes and I love seeing Abby relish the flavor and I know she already had tasted many menus Mark you are lucky man and you deserve to have her. Matalino at magalang ka sa pananalita at mahusay pa kumanta at mag gitara. Lalago ang inyong subs kasi maganda ang themes nyo. Ingat. Watching from Middle East. .

  • @arlymranario1563
    @arlymranario1563 4 роки тому

    Tradional Filipino dishes were named after the process of cooking or the way it was cooked. Like "adobo" is to marinate, Sinigang comes from root word Sigang (to Stew). The infix "in" transforms the verb "Sigang" (to stew) into a noun Sinigang (dish name).it is well known you can adobo any protein (or some veggie) by following adobo marinade and braise later. Likewise, you can "sigang" any protein following stewing requirements of sinigang (tamarind or any souring agent + the veggies). By saying "salmon sinigang is not traditional", its partially correct and also totally wrong (if taken that sinigang is a product of a process). salmon is not readily available in PI during ancient times. however it it was available during early years, im pretty sure our forebears will make sinigang salmon.
