As a little aside, I think Three Sisters are a little bit optimistic to the speed of the karts, they'll do ~55mph - they're the same karts that Daytona Motorsport run and they do 55mph. If you want to *ACTUALLY* do 70mph, go to Daytona, and book DMAX karts, they're a WORLD ahead of even those SODI Karts 😊 great video as per usual 👍
Damn, and here I was thinking I was hitting motorway speeds. Still, more motivation to try the Dmaxes, because these things were a ton of fun!
@@PericoKarting Well, look at it like this. Those, got you doing speeds on a dual carriageway. The DMAX ones, those will have you in the outside lane of a motorway!
Be warned though, the DMAX karts, are *TOTALLY* different animals even compared to those 4-strokes you drove at Three Sisters. Seriously, the speed will absolutely cook your mind if you aren't prepared for it 😊👍
The DMAX Karts top out at around 55-60. The sodi's do 50 max. The real difference is the acceleration, with the two stroke getting to it's higher top speed a lot quicker.
The Junior rotax engines the DMAX uses barely get over 70mph in competition karts, which are like 50-60kg lighter.
The only way you're getting anywhere near 70 in the dmax is if you change the gearing and go on a dragstrip.
they just used to the wrong unit. those karts can actually go 70.
but km/h, not mph.
Man, I literally started karting 3 weeks ago and am OBSESSED. Was looking for a sport to stick to my whole life and nothing clicked until now. And going outdoor is definitely a goal of mine. I'd be ecstatic if my first time experience is gonna be even half as delightful as yours. XD

@@maniasadiq so at the start i started with rental karting, but my father and i saved for a go kart (if you cant afford a new go kart you can rent one or get one second hand) after that we looked for some karting clubs, personally i do it for fun but if you want to do it professionally im not really sure, maybe look up a professional go kart club maybe

If you thought 3 sisters was quick, go to Daytona Tamsworth and do a dmax race them two stokes are another level compared to the 4 stroke but 3 sisters is really good fun anyway

Got on here at last last night. 40 minutes was pletny, my arms were going! Slow start (54 second laps) down to 52 second laps the second time out. Took me a while to figure out just how far you could push the things! Basically only need to brake twice if youre smooth enough (which I was not)

hey just a heads up for the future a lot of outdoor tracks don’t allow helmet mounts due to the incident that happened to Michael Schumacher where the go pro went through his helmet into his head when skiing. it’s basically so if the hit the go pro when crashing it could act like a needle thru your lid. also if u ever fancy doing a hire part championship your should come do the nrkl it’s fun and a good way to try new track with good drivers hope to see u there

As a karter that has been here before. Down the Conrod straight always use human drs and slipstream if possible it’s so worth it a good 5 to 8 tenths from it

Always wanted to race at three sisters, my local track, how much was it for the race £ wise?
Cost us £210 between the three of us, worked out at £70 each
Once you go outdoors in a 2 stroke, going back indoors is PAINFUL 😭

Are they 70 mph? Sodi are 50 mph. Try get down to Tamworth, they have sodi and d-max, the d-max are 70mph "apparently" or better yet Milton Keynes, same company and karts as Tamworth but track is amazing. There is another in sandown racetrack, think in esher London

The Cambox 4 looks like it's gonna be the best of the cambox range but the battery life still looks like it's gonna be a concern 😄
