    Really enjoy making these soundtracks. Lots of layering, reverb and atmosphere. If you want me to work on some specific ambience, please leave a comment. Curious to hear what's on your mind. :)

      Thank you@@douglasvieira8574 a (even) more horror and suspense like setting could be fun to do, tho I like to keep things subtle and musically vague. New one coming later today, stay tuned.

      What about something like "abandoned desert place" or "drifting in space" kinda ambience music?

      @@DodlesLP Thank you for your feedback and ideas mate, much appreciated! Playing around with tons of visuals and honestly, there are so many amazing options for sceneries it's super hard to choose. However, suspense atmos seem to work best atm. Let's see where it goes. :)

    Why does a dark, inhospitable and lonely world seem peaceful, relaxing and desirable to us?

    • @ambientoutpost
      @ambientoutpost  6 місяців тому +35

      Very good question, can absolute relate! I guess we experience these places "relaxing", because we have emotionalized them through artificial sound. Plus, rain on top is a very calming element for almost every scenery. In reality though, we would experience these places "as they are" and I am pretty sure, it would feel very different. @alvar9439

      The warm soothing yet terrifying embrace of Death. It comes to all. Rich or Poor. Our final destination. Death... salvation from the misery and exhaustion of living in hell. Hell, our world we live in, full of suffering and despair, is no equal to Death. This hell we live in reluctantly releases us from its tentacled grasp. Silently we sift into Death's loving embrace. This hell agonizingly eyes the loss of yet another soul unto Death. Death, not looking back, a small corner of the mouth smile whispers across It's face. Caressing another weary soul into It's bosom, pondering this soul's rancorous life.

      That‘s how it all started. Did the very first one with absolutely no intention to run a channel. I was surprised it got 500 views overnight and so I did the second video the very next day… and so on.. and from there I got completely lost and excited to create new scenes and music - till today. Still feeling like a beginner tho 😅

    Love this channel, love the architecture of the outpost. The attention to detail in the moss and ferns slowly reclaiming the structure is very cool. Added to it is that calm, quiet, grey-green of the misty forest. These help me sleep at night. If that makes me odd (says my Wife), then so be it. Thanks, for your craft and time. Cheers.

      @@n8n8n8n I love the idea of going out and hunt. (I would need to learn2 first, but I love the idea, sounds kinda pure.)
      I think what we love about the idea of living in such place is the contrast between the wilderness outside and imagined comfort inside, surrounded by sturdy walls made of concrete, warm, dry, with electricity and hot water available, maybe even keeping the internet...
      But then, what would you DO all day?

    • @Polonium209
      @Polonium209 4 місяці тому +1

      @@jaroslavzaruba2765 do work, this place is a really good place to live, like you said there is comfort within its walls, but there also is the struggle to survive, a meaningless struggle, since it is settled in a post apocalyptic world, there is work and work is what we shall do in a world like that, we really have to hunt for food or somehow grow it inside artificially, but still, there is struggle, and meaningless struggle is enough meaning for a meaningful life. Objective in place like this: Survive.

    Post apocalypse, many sought shelter in the few remaining structures. Those made of concrete and steel that could withstand the blow of mankind's last assault to mother earth. The architect, Frank Lloyd Wright, a notable figure in the art world on the early 20th century, could never have imagined that his triumph would become a symbol of the tragedy of man some 200 years later. Most of the waters had dried up leaving the once famous waterfall a barren rocky crevice. No longer did the leaves change with the seasons, as the last of the deciduous forest had long died off to be replaced by towering gloomy pines. Fallingwater was, to many, a desired destination to witness the marriage of man and nature in harmony. Today, it stands a shadow of what it once was.
