I'm sure their insurance company will love the cost of fixing that Cybertruck...
I'm curious about repairing the Cyber truck.
It seems like it would be easier to pound the fenders back into shape because they are flat.
Fixing it? Its virtually bulletproof 😂😂 not even a scratch on it. That Toyota is totalled but the cybertruck will drive off just fine 😂 watch the crash test vids of CT and it takes a tank to damage them
it will BUFF out.
@@brianrobinson4907 will be impossible to do with stainless. This is a disaster of an idea.
@@afindlay2763 I guess you never worked with stainless steel.

6000lbs of stainless steel vs a Corolla and the Tesla driver walks away hurt? Good to know it’s as unsafe as it is fugly.
I love old trucks and vehicles, but the fact someone made a new vehicle that is just as safe as they are is astonishing 😂
Probably wasn't wearing a seat belt.
@@mike4769no thats just the cyber truck in general it doesn't crumple up like cars normally do your car crumples to keep you from taking alot of the force of a crash the cyber truck has a small amount pf crumple meaning the driver and passengers are taking most of the impact of the crash
what pasrt of "minor injuries" don't you get?
Who would of ever thought a 2023 Cybertruck would have resembled the offspring of a DeLorean and a Honda Ridgline.
Until you drive it and realize the steer-by-wire is other worldly
Everybody who saw any news about Cybertruck in the last four years knew.
No it ain't
Cybertruck is very sim to a Pontiac aztek
And my Amana refrigerator.
Cybertruck looked fine after the crash. But the other car looks like it smashed right on to a wall !
nope, it's probably a complete write-off, they showed only the side which wasn't involved in the crash
the other side has a bent chassis and doors and the wheel covers where sheared off, if the battery is just slightly bent that truck is done.
@@Bioshyn there is video on the internet where shows the driver side and It still has minimal damage compared to the Toyota which seems to be totalled
i've seen the picture, i wouldn't call that minimal, you can't see the front but from what you can see, the fender, the doors both wheel cases and the rear fender are damaged and need replacement, and if the battery pack was damaged it's done, might as well have to buy a new one.
The problem is that it could mean it doesn't deform and the impact the passengers feel is greater@@HwangInhoBooNam
And yet the only one hurt (according to the report) was the doorstop driver.
Not a glowing example of vehicle safety by Tesla...AGAIN...

Well the Toyota damage really didn't look all that bad considering what they hit.

Your neck and spine.
@@LayzeeGiant 100%. People seem to be rather impressed that cybertrucks barely crumple in accidents but fail to realize that the impact force has to go somewhere. And if your vehicle ain't absorbing/reducing the impact by crumpling, that impact force is gonna rattle your bones and organs something fierce.
Tons of people would look at the Toyota and be like "That car is less safe" based on it being totaled....But in reality it was designed to crumple like it did and did it's job well in that department. Some people can't understand basic physics I guess haha.

Lmfao weeks out and already proving the cybertruck is nothing to mess with. Toyota is totalled and the CT got not a scratch on it. Love or hate the appearance that things near indestructible.
Cybertruckdriver injured, Toyotadriver fine. Lmfso
@@barangoran4179The cyber truck body looks fine because the energy from the impact went into the driver. The Toyota is in pieces, but the drive is fine because that initial energy load would transfer to the car and break instead. This is why cars from the 70s are strong but notoriously killed drivers from the impact and the lack of other safety features. The passengers of the Tesla are fine. So everyone in the front gets hurt or potentially dies, but the passengers, who are usually kids, would be safe. So take that how you would like.
I love Mercedes because they have been in my family for as long as I can remember. But when my sister got in an accident driving in the rain, a car hit her and sent her into the barriers. She was in an E class when this happened. So, it's not a big car compared to the Yukon that hit her. But she walked out fine. A little burnt from all the airbags deploying, but the car sensed a collision and immediately reacted to keep her safe. The car was totaled, and when I saw it, I would have never thought Someone could be okay in such a collision. But it did what safe cars do: absorbed energy and protected from potential blunt force trauma.
@@barangoran4179both drivers reported minor injuries, but both walked away and are fine.
The Toyota is supposed to total to absorb impact otherwise the driver will get more hurt
No especially means the cyber truck cannot absorb shock.
Cybertruck looks fine
And that's a problem. That impact force has to go somewhere and if your vehicle ain't absorbing them...guess where it goes? haha

Her car was TOTALED...absolutely destroyed. But she was completely fine. My work truck sustained just a bit of paint damage on the steel bumper and the heavily enforced rear end. But I will tell you that I felt every single bit of the impact and got gnarly whiplash that has my neck screwed up a bit still to this day. In that instance, I would have preferred that my truck would have gave way because that experience was no fun at all.

Yes, it won the stupid price 😅😅😅😅
@pedrobetancourt its not the one who lost controll and swerved into on coming traffic, that was the toyota, are you actually this dumb?
Didn't look on the other side did u
It didnt. Since it doesnt have crumple zone like all cars, the driver of Cybertruck was injured instead of Toyota.
@@pedrobetancourt its probably just small bruises that no need medical treatment, while the other vehicle becomes CT's dedicated crumblezone and paying for a new car
Toyota company: 🤣
doesn't this truck weigh something like 10,000lbs?
only 6,000 lbs and change.
wow,that thing is fckin huge
The corolla driver was shocked seeing a urinal driving towards him.
Hahahahahahaha
the corolla still got KOed. what about it?
@@DoritoDoritio Because that's how most modern cars are designed to look after a gnarly accident? If your car has a good accident safety rating, it's going to be totaled in an accident so that the vehicle absorbs a majority of the impact force (meaning less to your bones and organs). The cybertruck barely sustaining any damage is the reason why the cybertruck driver was the only individual with injuries. Personally if I got into a bad accident, I would WANT my car to look like a crumpled up paper bag because it would mean I would have a better chance of survival. Physics 101.
@@DoritoDoritio The cybertruck too. Parts of the side panels were blocking the front tire and made it immobile.
The best comparison would be a tank... the corolla was the light tank blasted to oblivion (or nearly, at least a "KO"), the cybertruck was the heavier tank but its tracks got blown away making it at least immobile and so also useless for a car.
So it's just like any other vehicle.
now imagine if the one at fault was the tesla driver. its horrifying. a lot of crashes are accidents. people dont deserve a huge block of METAL hitting their car even if they are the ones in the wrong. this thing should not be allowed on the road.
aint their fault for you not using a car with good structural integrity, they have the right to protect their (probably expensive) investment in a car and also their own life, and it's not like it is actively hostile, it is just a very solid constructed car, yes it looks weird as fuck but that is the downside to it
And I don't deserve to have a huge mass of fat in the shape of a woman telling me what I'm allowed to own, yet here we are.
In a head on accident, the truck has no crumple zones, meaning all the energy goes to the driver, causing the driver to have injuries, and could result in death from spinal injuries and whiplash
I’m not a Tesla fan but why is this news if it has nothing to do with the Tesla.

Elon musks wise words if you get into a crash you will win
Can't even see the left side of the cyber truck if the left side of the Corolla is smashed and were looking at legal road laws then the cyber truck contact point would be the left also they ain't gonna show you that tho if y'all got another video of the other side maybe id believe it but that's my stance on this shit
In the media was an image, and the cybertruck was basically also totalled (bent frame = totalled!)
Its anyways a nightmare to fix any tesla and the cybertruck is so much worse with its pretty bad chassis/frame design.
Yes, in a really minor accident it will probably get only scratches, but anything damaging any other car more heavily is also totalling the cybertruck. And again, the outer hull is part of the frame, and you can not really bend back THE FRAME (carrying the weight and load) when its damaged once since structural integrity can not be trusted anymore.
Toyota with good luck and frame in good shape might be fixable for like 2000$ when he also needs new radiator and some smaller parts regarding the engine and surroundings, but the cybertruck can be easily a LOSS since its "impossible" to fix.
