2001 Ford F250 Door Panel and Door Lock Actuator Replacement

The door power locks would work sometimes but not all the time. I got 2 new ones so lets get them installed.

This video did not help me to disassemble the lock mechanism. Another UA-cam video showed how to do the process better by dismantling the exterior door latch.

I just rewatched the video, seems to explain everything pretty good to me. It is hard to show everything in side the door.

@@TheGAutomotiveAndMore When I did the disassembly, I was not able to undo the green clip that holds the threaded rod in place. I looked at another video, and that guy removed two 7mm nuts holding the exterior door latch to the door. The rod and green clip were then easily accessible. Suggest you revise your video to show this option. The rest of your video was great !!!! ED

I have to do both doors thanks for the video looks like it's going to be a bit of a pain but I'm happy that there isn't 20 clips that break everytime on the door panels

You can get the actuator off without removing the latch.

I tried, it would not come off. Had to remove it.
