- 1) if u think this is ok take a look at urself in the mirror nexon will buff nw more
2) look at my gskills im missing 50%+ boss damage
3) i took off gear so people would stop pretending like 0 line stat drop gear heavily influences my damage
4) nw is easily the best hlotus mule ive made out of the 15-20 classes ive played, followed by merc
This just emphasizes how much more important SF and Legion is over stat/stat lines for damage output. Just those few pieces being 20/21* makes up more ATT power than full 17/18 with the same total star force count ("All stars are not weighted equal"). Also, I'm sure this char has some type of boss fams in addition to 6k, if not 8k+ legion, because 410 boss while missing a potential extra 50+ is not that easy to hit.
yeah ignore the fact I've done hlotus on 15 characters for comparison and that missing 4 pieces of gear means nothing and cope that the class is fine, what u mean 256 sf is fine for a 12 min hlot 😭 ive done this on a 370 sf Zero after playing the class for 3 years and the clear speed is the same
@@Essenia uhh I think there may be a misunderstanding here...Nowhere did i disagree or "cope" about NW being OP and broken, anyone with eyes can see and knows that. The only point of my comment was to point out that SF (specifically 20+), high legion and fams account for more damage than stat/stat lines. Because i often see people trying to get 3L stats without having the above and wonder why they aren't doing the damage that they want. Hopefully that clarified things. Cheers xD
@@pkwarrior9215 being above 20 stars only gives you like 50% more att. So a 256sf character that focuses on 22s instead of full 17s will have at most 60 more att.
You're right that SF is significantly more important than potential stat lines, but you're overemphasizing the value of a few outstanding pieces and forgetting the fundamental law of MapleStory power dynamics: having way too many sources of power interacting multiplicatively. Missing 4 slots of equipment is a huge deal because you're missing out on all the different power systems: potentials, sf, set effect being the primary 3.
If there's any hidden power here it would likely be: legacy fams, superior WSE, links/legion and hands. Lots of hands.
Having slightly more starforce than full 17 has nothing to do with clearing hlotus in 12 minutes, which is insane. I usually see 350+ starforce on other classes at higher stat for 12 min clears
@@anonymousl5150 really? which class does that? Cuz my DW at about the same stat +200 atk and about -150% less boss and -4% visual ied can clear in about 15 min... at about 270 star force but maybe thats just DW things lol
What do your nodes look like? Are you doing this with Minimal Nodes?

shadow spear -> glory of the guardians -> cygnus blessing -> phalanx charge
dominion -> back step cancel and cast shadow illusion, greater dark servant (can cast it earlier if you want), shadow bite, bind, tap rapid throw for 3s.
shadow bite -> back step cancel at least every 20s to keep up momentum, use greater dark servant immediately off cd so it lines up with mini-burst (ab+last resort+rapid throw)

stuns on you have such a low duration compared to my shadower, also that green/yellow sticky ground thing on p3 doesnt affect you... i guess nw is really broken
true nw op :D stuns can also be ping-related and if you're referring to 4:25 for the green floor, dark sight always ignores the slow effect!
What makes Merc your 2nd best hlotus mule, just the damage?
I ran three man 22k boss parties on hlotus and I think your NW outspeed them, granted your NW has decent number of 21s
the damage + uptime and mobility (assuming hands) + freud's wisdom allowed my merc to clear hlotus faster than my hoyoung/ark/nl, results vary depending on how well you dps during spirits though
i dont think the damage on nw should be this high with 256 sf regardless T-T
I started my NW maybe 1 week before you and I’m only 23k stats and no where near as strong
ive been playing for longer than you probably think and also i saved up nodes and meso for this guy so no reason to compare urself 😭
DW he has like 5 21* gears and 8L atk on a NW he’s going to be a lot stronger than you. Plus if you look at his stat window he’s got 410 boss, 96% ied, and 2.7k atk. ON TOP of that he has 2L CD gloves so I wouldn’t sweat it
