  • What if we could give you a story of English setters, the Italian Alps, Eurasian woodcock, and even puppies? This is the world Andrea Cavaglia grew up in. It is the passion that inspired his films and career.
Take a journey into the Italian Alps as Andrea explores his family heritage of breeding and hunting the mountains and farmlands below. From Eurasian woodcock hunting to training dogs, this is a distinct part of the world -- yet still the same community we are a part of.

These are amazing videos, very underrated and under viewed . I’ve watched a lot of them and I agree project upland and the message it has will be the connection to younger generations. I really hope this spreads

I’m 25 never shot a quail I walked into my first covey during deer season. Well I was scared and excited I went out found the covey the next day and I missed all three shots. I walked up a single I got it and I was hooked. I now have 9 month old gsp. I built a pigeon coop I haven’t got Pigeons yet. I’m still woah training but I’m a kinda young new bird hunter with three sons. These videos made me get my dog. I wanted a drathaar but they are very expensive and I’m very poor 😂. I’m gonna hunt Kansas next year maybe guided then a day or two on public.

Sad to see these magnificent birds fall from the sky but the triad is gun, dog, bird. Without anyone of the three it's simply hiking. Besides, contrary to popular belief they taste wonderfully.

Beautiful setters. I love how the old-world setters work. All cat-like and sneaky.

Why is the video called "Dad is a Breeder" when he specifically says that Dad is not a breeder?

You can enjoy nature without destroying it... I hope someday you can come to realise that nature is beautiful and you don't have to kill everything for your devilish pleasure.
