Audience : How does Nolan keeps us invested in Inception?
Newbie Writer : By using complex characters with clear goals, stakes, and internal struggles who fight their way through mind boggling action sequences and non linear narratives that raise complex philosophical questions and makes us wonder ‘Are we all just in a giant dream?’
Legends : He doesn’t. Instead, Nolan creeps up on you when you are sleeping, injects you with Somnacin… uses PASIV device to get inside your dream, and plants the idea that you want to be invested in Inception. That is the magic trick. He makes you think you want to be fooled.
