One thing about Nolan's movie is that even you have watched the movie ten times it still feels like watching it the first time.
true
Sooooo true! I went back and watched The Prestige again and it felt like my first time again! Inception is next up, then Following... love those films
"You musn't be afraid to dream a little bigger darling"
-Why is it so important to dream?
-"In my dreams, we're still together"
This film is 10 years old? Holy cow...
right? I feel old
It feels that long ago because there are hardly any original movies anymore, this movie was before comic book movies took over the film industry.
@@Diapontios I mean, not really lol. Iron Man 1 if I'm not mistaken came out early 2000s then everything went on from there.
little hollow
Iron Man 1 was released in 2008 but it wasn’t until the Avengers in 2012, that comic book movies really dominated the industry and all the studios are still doing is to try to imitate that success and/or create franchises.
There is very little room for originality.
@@Diapontios I agree. I still love the movies though. (Just because I grew up with them) I just dont respect them as much as Inception or really anything by Christopher Nolan lol
We need Leo back with Nolan.. as an R-rated thriller with Bale, Hardy, Caine, ZImmer, Hugh and McConaughey
And cillian Murphy
@@aneesaahmed6815 Right? I miss him too!
@racoon boy memento and insomnia
It would be way too expensive.
That WOULD be glorious, but it would also be the most expensive movie in history.
The dark Knight, inception, interstellar
I just love the writing of Nolan sir
Plus Prestige
Dunkirk
Memento
@@souffle01 you know what book it is?
@@souffle01 But it's a good script nonetheless
"Tenet" is coming out not so long from now, so I find this upload a bit suspicious...
Same bro...i feel like there is a big conspiracy going on..😂😂😂
The rumor is that Tenet and Inception occur in a shared universe.
@@maujo2009 This has me so hype right now.
a mystery fuel, me like.
@@maujo2009 As exciting as it sounds, I'd rather it's another original work. And I believe it will be.
Inception is one of the best movie of the last decade....
@The Laughing Man ok.....so? Still one of the best movies of the last decade
It's my favorite movie ever. It's just so interesting
Genius Director + Genius Actor = Grand Masterpiece
Christopher Nolan is the only director that his movies we can discuss more than 10 years. His movies are truly classic masterpiece
Talk
Not many films I rewatch let alone watch 5 times lol
People will be talking about this film for decades more, it’s that great
oxsila lol me too, it’s one of the very very few movies that I can just watch at any times
People are still talking about "Batman & Robin" 23 years later.....
This movie is indeed in my top 5 favorite movies of all time.
I find reasons nearly everyday to rewatch it and it truly still blows my mind EVERYTIME I rewatch it.
It is truly a spectacle that will never die, I will be showing this movie to my kids in the future and telling them that this movie was a true and genuine game changer
"I've always been fascinated by the nature of dreaming. The idea that while we're dreaming we can create a world but perceive it at the same time without realising that we're performing both of those functions to the extent where if we dream of a conversation with somebody we're dreaming that person while also creating the word in that person's mouth but feel we're hearing them for the first time."
Leo, Tom Hardy and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, 3 of my favorite actors in the same movie. Inception is classic.
hunk tank
Cillian Murphy
I've watched somewhat 3k-4k films including all great films but for me Inception in the best film I've ever seen....it's just a masterpiece
I haven't seen nearly that many but couldn't agree more. It's beautiful
Leo has gone from teenage heartthrob to a first class actor. Go out my way to watch anything he is in.
it's been 10 years since its realese and it's still making the same noise. MASTERPIECE
I remember watching the movie in theater for the first time 10 years ago, being completely blown away while still having no idea the impact it will have on me in the years to come. Only after investigating the film thoroughly from top to bottom it became my favorite film of all times, which I revisit almost every year, being blown away every single time.
“Dreams feel real while we’re in them, it’s only after we wake up we realize something was actually strange” I love how Chris recited his own script 😂😂
You are so lucky that you had opportunity to see that movie in theater
I was child that time but I will definitely watch tenet in theater
Hope it will not postponed by f**king virus
@@yash124 I hope that it does get postponed because there's a big change that we won't be able to watch it in theatre. It's much better to only release it when we're absolutely sure that the world is free of virus.
@@yash124 Sodding virus messed everything up I was looking forward to tenet
@@Shoobs3D I hope so
Cause I don't think they are going to open theatres in India until August
So better release will postpone
@The Laughing Man there is difference between take inspiration and stole the concept
Paprika was released in 2006 and Nolan was writing inception from year 2000 and he take inspiration from not the anime but novel named paprika which was released in 1973
Even most of the Oscar nominated films are inspired of some novel and book that doesn't mean it's not original
What's wrong with you people that you can't appreciate someone talent and always criticise
Even great directors like Martin Scorsese take inspiration from something else it doesn't mean that's not their original concept
This is Nolan's masterpiece!
Leo gun flipping looked great!
The fact that people are still talking about this proof that this movie was a true masterpiece
KDZ absolutely
4:12 one of my favorite lines of the movie
Inception was my favorite movie ! I watched ... many, many times.
DiCaprio and Nolan almost look like brothers
thank you Film4 for blessing my UA-cam timeline.
Cris, you've created this masterpiece a decade ago and i'm still struggling to understand it completely even after watching it once in a year like a routine. Everytime i watch this movie I figure out something new which I didn't understand before and yet its still confusing for me.
Which means i'm not sure if i'm ready for Tenet yet. But what the heck!! Bring it ONN!!
अतृप्ति आत्मा same happens to me whenever I watch Interstellar, every time I watch it I discover something new
Inception is a movie I learn something new every watch and a movie I don’t think I will truly ever understand. The big thing that eats me up about this movie is how Cobb tells Ariadne that you must have your own unique totem and then immediately says his totem wasn’t his but his wifes. That detail doesn’t make sense. It contradicts the whole totem thing. The first half of the movie sets up its rules and then the second half breaks all of them.
@The Laughing Man Are you aware of the fact that Nolan has been working on this script ever since Memento? I think it's a masterpiece because he made it his own and I consider it flawless. And also, if a movie is inspired by other movies/forms of media doesn't mean that they can't be called masterpieces. Godfather, which is considered by many the best film ever, is inspired by a book . Or Pulp Fiction, which is a much more relevant example, has many scenes inspired from other movies. If u hadn't watched the movie, I'm sure you know the scene with John Travolta and Uma Thurman dancing. That scene is inspired by another scene from a black-and-white movie. But guess what? Tarantino made it his own . And so did Nolan, if Inception is inspired by Paprika( which I highly doubt)
@The Laughing Man actually maybe nolan incepted that idea.. to make inception.. so fair.. enough. Inception is possible..then
Legendary director Christopher Nolan 👍👍👍
What I love about Nolan is that he always tries to do as much as he possibly can practically; visual effects are a last resort, but when used, they are there to enhance what’s been filmed, not to take its place.
Anyway, Inception still remains my favourite film of all time, though I haven’t seen Tenet yet which I’m going to watch this weekend.
Nolan is an amazing film maker. I love everything he does.
This movie is in my top 5 all time. Chills just thinking about certain scenes.
one of the greatest movies of all time. let's just all admit that.
Who's excited for Tenet?

Can I just say Christopher Nolan is a visionary like the way he even talks about the movie you could see how much effort he puts and I just really hope one day him and Leo really worked together again in another movie because he’s just he’s really really good. you know Chris one of my favorite directors and I just appreciate his work and the way he puts so much effort and thought into it and you know you could tell how like his mind is just it’s it’s amazing the way he thinks things that he likes forms things formulates things it’s just it’s it’s so cool and fucking amazing it. I love his work and I’m so excited for tenet because like I feel like if it’s very much like inception i feel like we’re all going to like it except I know I’m going to watch like three times Since I can’t even understand the trailer.
Agreed! Can't wait for TENET. It's going to shock the world
Personally, i remember every single name. I'm not english speaking guy, so i may be spelling it incorrectly but Cobb, Arthur, Ariadne, Eames, Yusuf, Saito, Fisher (Robert was his name?), Maul, and if i remember correctly Phillip was the Michael Kaine guy name. They all really stuck with me. Such a great film. My very favourite. If I wanna share a part of me with someone, i just make them watch this masterpiece
You actually have really good English you seem like any average English speaking commenter
I am happy that leo did this movie
By far the greatest movie ever 🙌 genius Nolan & extraordinary Leo the best combo
One of the best movies ever made...
The three people who disliked this video believe that they are dreaming and have both the buttons confused..
Film of the Decade.
One of the best movies I have ever seen
what an epic and amazing movie, even 10 years later
Tenet was a great film, can’t wait to see Inception.
I have seen many many films yet inception is and probably will remain my all time favorite one
I remember the first time I watched it. The thought that came to my mind was that what if my life is a dream? I die and wake up in another life?
INCEPTION IS ONE OF MY FAVOURITE MOVIE ALL TIME.
They look like brothers
Nolan really looks like Leo's dad here
5:58 "ACTION!!" 🗣🗣
This was one of those movies where I had to watch it a second time to enjoy it.
It's past time for Nolan and Leo DiCaprio to release a new film together! I hope this happens soon.
Oh Mr. Nolan, just keep on making movies. I enjoyed each of your movies.
Christopher Nolan is that handsome that he can play an actor too.
Agreed
My favourite movie by far.
Chris you bloody genius...
Still my favorite movie
this is my favorite movie but Prestige is a close second with epic for his movies
An ending is still yet to drop me on my head like prestige did
Love your movie from your fan in Thailand.
You guys change the pitch? It sounds off.
Because you’re IN A DREAM
The Stuff Mike Does or to avoid copyright... ironically
Because in the UK every movie thats released on dvd has the pitch increased thats what happend here is that they are using dvd footage. Thankfully blu ray dosent have this problem
Masterpiece
One of my favorite movies of all time. Please come out with a sequel.
Christopher isn't the sequel type of guy but I feel like Tenet will be the closest we get to a sequel, apparently having heist film elements
not a sequel because then it would ruin the ending. Maybe a prequel.
Paul Dunn, Never. Christopher Nolan movies are written complete, even if they leave off with ambiguity. A sequel would make no sense since the story has already been told.
Nolan is Legend Director
I’m thinking of revisiting that movie with the intention of doing a podcast on it
I love this movie.
One of the greatest movies in the past 20 years - might be my favorite in that time.
In my opinion, his greatest film - but by a hair since Interstellar is incredible...
Then we've got Dunkirk, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises...
Every one of them outstanding.
Am I the only one here that's in love with Leo lol
Over a billion girls around the world fell in love with him after Titanic lol
@@Model_Roe damn my comment was so long ago I forgot I even wrote it
Still in love with him tho 🤌🏾
@@jadahwise I mean people drag Leo online saying he's fat and old LoL 😂 but he's still the Leonardo DiCaprio he's a legend at his age he's still pulling 20 year old Supermodels so haters can fall back

Who needs a hairline when you're a genius lmao
@@oxsila cant argue with that
those eyes tho.
This guy was born with that hairline, checkout his photos from time before memento xD
That’s it. Imma watch this movie. (Again)

My favourite movie in the world
0:38 Di Caprio saying everything Nolan must've told him to say about the film...
You may have to watch it 2 to 3 times!
Great film
You dont see a nolan film, you feel it..
all I have for you is a word...
TENET=TENET (palindromes) is Inception 2. TENET is Cobb's children, James and Philippa (Pattinson and Debicki) era. It's outrageous but I'm having a goosebumps it's true. (won't be surprise if it happens to be)

I watched Tenet and it is a little impossible
Best movie of all time
#1 movie on my list.
I say you This movie will not Old such a Great Movie
It comes from above
Memento is still the masterpiece.
All of his films are the masterpiece.
@ARYAN KAUSHIK D MB11589 watched it again last week, now i agree.
The scene with Cillian Murphy grew up to become a meme instead of a dream
Leo love
Christopher and Leo look like brothers
Nolan looks like Leo's older brother.
The Mastermind
Someone knows the name of the Soundtrack at the beginning?
Mind heist
They look like they could be brothers
I Want a Film that Begins with an Earthquake and Works Up to a Climax - Sam Goldwyn

You may have to watch it 2 or 3 times.
I have seen Nolan uses real set to shoot movies various times!
Really looking forward to tennat
shame the audio isn’t great on this video, also the film is pitched up slightly which is jarring
When this is taken?
probably 2010
TENET WILL BE NEXT INCEPTION 💯
is Tenet really Inception 2?
