I gotta go with Trav on the elevator issue. Statistically you have no idea when/where the next person will call the elevator. It might be on the ground floor, but the next person to call the elevator could also be one floor above Travis. Trying to do that math and figure out where the elevator will need to move in few minutes is pretty much impossible unless you have a visual on the next person to need it, in which case you have an even more horrifying scenario trying to decide which person to inconvenience by getting in their elevator. 🤣
My favourite cut bit was like the other half of the shrek stuff, all the visual gags about flashing a shrek up on screen for reference lol. That was so good, the ogopogo stuff was great too though
Ahhh i was here for this!! So glad i got to see it live, shame the Minions Quotes wasnt included since Griff did a great job on that segment, but it WAS mostly visual so I get it lol. Hope you guys come up here again, it was a blast having you! 😄
@@earthshaker5991 Picture in your head: Griffin wordlessly reveals the last character on the overhead and storms off stage in frustration RIGHT before intermission, upon Travis CORRECTLY guessing the last character. This after Travis and Justin escalate things and drag things out by trying to extract hints- from both Griffin and *from the audience*, who are getting real into this spontaneous audience interaction. It was as near to a perfect blackout gag as I've ever seen and it was an accidental and utterly un-podcastable moment.
Its wild knowing i was in the same room as like a significant portion of these commenters listening to this live, and its even wilder being able to hear my own voice on my favourite podcast yelling about geese maulings in the background
How did Justin saying "you don't need to DUXX yourself" fly under the radar when they were telling people they didn't need to admit if they had killed a goose?
Is that what land acknowledgements are for? I thought you just do that when you build a place. The McElroy brothers don't own any land in Canada. Not trying to make a statement, just trying to learn.
@@LuckySketches Its pretty common for any theatre performances in Canada to do land acknowledgments. I have seen it quite a bit in the last few years. Especially in Vancouver since no treaty was ever signed with the indigenous there, so we acknowledge that we are still all trespassers on their land.
@@LuckySketches anytime you are speaking publicly or even sometimes casually such as an email it is respectful to acknowledge that you are on indigenous land, the vogue theatre was on Musqueam territory and is unceded territory (basically means they never gave up the rights to the land and it is being occupied by settlers)
No bc the saddest thing ever was the comic someone made about Grimace reacting to people hating his birthday shake??!?!? And he said he wished he never had a birthday?! I could cry
"I pull my hot dog out of my fanny pack in front of a group of teens" is one step away from being extremely alarming
I'd just like to point out that Travis introduced himself as Travis "fat dog" woof woof McElroy.
That's a kind of big!
“Grand” is mostly for inanimate objects. “Gros” was correct in this context
This episode says donkey in a shrek voice more than any other episode ever will or could even hope to
Arguably more often than the actual movie Shrek
I will never forget the feeling of being in that room as we all shouted Donkey
Saw this show live, so happy they posted it.
Those Fungalore wishes were REALLY good, huh
32:50 "and what were YOU doing at the witch's sabbat, lady abigail?"
I was thinking the same thing live!

I'm so sad they ommitted Clint's Ogopogo bit 😔
IT WAS SO BEAUTIFUL

SAME. i was really hoping theyd keep it

CLINT! CLINT! CLINT! CLINT! 👏
Okay, but the bit of Griffin pretending to shush the audience during the ads is really fucking good
This was such a great show to see live! Thanks for coming to the Couve boys, you're welcome anytime!
After more than a decade in the game, the boys still not knowing how to tell a "normal adult" what they do is hilarious.

Real "Broken hands Luke " situation there
This was so wild to see in person thank you for coming to canada, do a land acknowledgment next time your here tho guys
That's awesome!

Kinda disappointed they forgot about all the kickable zones on a 'mingo

WOOF MEOW MEOW!
