I just wanted to say that I’m a taekwondo instructor, and I reference the McElroys at least 10 times a day to my students. They’ve started quoting me when I say “get it together, juice” to a kid who can’t get their gear on fast enough. The McElroys have made every one of my classes better AND funnier.
Edit: I also say “step 1: keep your grades up” when explaining a technique, like a kick. Hey, it’s good advice! The parents LOVE it. I also do the _best_ Jerry Potter impression, and my lil guys’ brains practically fall out of their butts they laugh so hard. I sprinkle in looooots of Monster Factory references, and other silly quips and phrases and whatnot.

We need to talk about how many actors and actresses are emerging from these superhero movies--Marvel, Sony, DC--clearly, clearly the worse for the experience. We are damaging our stock of onscreen talent with these films and shows.

@@arin999 Forsooth. I mean maybe it's like this: on one side we have A list actors. On the other side are superhero movie audiences and superhero movie writers. The audiences and writers are laboring under the longtime mistaken assumption that the actors give a shit about the movies they appear in.
edit: It's like the way so many of the bosses I have had thought we all showed up for work because we wanted to maximize our core competencies and advance the Mission and Vision. And not, like, to earn money.
i thought for sure at the 20-minute mark that the whole episode would be a Madame Webb episode, and i kind of wish they would do a full 60 minutes of dunking on this really bad flick
I have a few things to say about MadAmWeb:
1) Uncle Ben Parker... should be Ben Reilly, so then Peter's Dad and Mom most likely would not have the last namr as Parker nor would Peter. Whatever examples you can think of for why it might still work has been thought of and it's dumb, just dont.
2) my friend and I watched this at half-speed, which not only doubled the time it took to watch (yikes) but also made everyone and every line delivery seem drunk (yay). It was genuinely so funny and so bad.
3) nothing good about this movie, sony-marvel eats farts.
why would it be ben reilly...?? ben reilly is peter's clone brother, he didnt exist until well into peters young adulthood.
