Wow that is the mother of all input lag! You'd have so much more control and feel for the car if what you saw wasn't 0.1 second old information! These days, make sure you get a Gsync or Gsync compatible monitor, turn this feature on, and limit the in game frame rate (Assetto Corsa allows this) to something below the upper limit of your Gsync display. For filming 60fps video, try limiting the fps to 120, and run detail settings that don't cause frequent drops below this. Then it will be smooth to run with low input lag, and film quite well.
@@Poud2 vsync probably, although it really is about 0.1 second, which seems a lot even for vsync.. Most monitors these days aren't that bad, and even 60hz screens can have less than 15ms input lag. Hey Ben, grate fun content. regarding the track and car they are both mods made by someone like me. Unfortually these are not very accrete esp the car. The mod of the car most likely took the physics of an official car from AC that closely fit the koenigsegg and has changed setting to fit this car. So gearing, power and suspension are all probably wrong. Let alone the tyre model which is also probaly based on an old / outdated version of the tyre model with not changes made. With regards to the track limits being wrong that could easily be fixed. I even fixed it years ago but the popular versions of the track out there does not have this fix. Did you have these teething problems with the actual cars when you first tried them or is it just a case of not being as used to the SIM rig as driving a car?
Koenigsegg has later stated that the main reason as to why this happened was that the car wasn't setup properly, there was time constraints and the manually adjustable suspension was setup for another track. They also said that the wing was already available as an option plus the fact that the wing was really small and incapable of creating any meaningful downforce at the speeds done at the top gear track. not sure why simdemon don't mount a round(-ish) wheel for ben and instead give him the formula wheel. Not using a rounder wheel not only give him less immersion, but also less controllability as well
I think sim driving is the reason Matt Armstrong crashed on track , taking a corner at a higher speed than you should isn’t going to be expensive in a sim ,but you can’t bring the same driving to the track .
Funny you should say that because I can't remember track limits being such a problem before the F1 drivers were sim racing all the time in 2020 lockdown 🤔
I think the reason for Matt crashing was more because he admitted vaguely recalling from Top Gear that some corners were taken flat out, but that was for the "reasonably priced car" and not Matt-tier cars 😊
na he said his issue is he just doesn't have fear stopping him from going to fast. i believe him. you dont get as good on a bmx as he does when you're scared of hurting yourself.
@J03130 as someone who does aggressive inline (fruit booter😂) there is absolutely no time or space for fear when your 10ft off the coping trying to spot your landing 😅
I think you have the same problem with sim racing that I have in the past. It’s a virtual 3D Environment on an 2D Screen. You would be much faster in VR, because of the depth. So you can see much better the breaking points Try it
These are great, Ben is very humble and professional, but I think these videos are slightly over produced, with all the different angles etc it can be a bit hard to concentrate. I think the more classic setup of 1st person view and a face cam in screen might be better. Perhaps if necessary a voice over. I get that he has a filming team and probably wants to give them work, but they might be overkill here. I don't watch much sim racing content but I think Jimmy Broadbent has a great formula in how basic it is, Car view, face view and lots of useful as he gabbers over the top. Obviously this channel is still learning and growing but that's my normie opinion.
I make vehicle mods for videos. Hit me up if you'd like me to make you a car to your specifications for a collab now hear me out, it's in BeamNG, but it's not just a crashing game, it's fully physics based, nothing is faked like normal sims, so it'll give you an experience you've never had before (then you can crash the car)

not sure why simdemon don't mount a round(-ish) wheel for ben and instead give him the formula wheel.
Haha - he crashed cos he’s a nutter - all the BMX boys are
Next level
Here’s voting for Ben to play Mario Kart - specifically rainbow road. Can I count you in ?
i feel like fov for that setup is tad too wide maybe
What simulator is this? (software)
feels like assetto corsa 2013
Assetto Corsa getting some love
the accuracy of the car model and the track may be causing some of the difference you notice ...there is a more accurate model of Dunsfold available
Awesome
What is this game
The sound of the car is really good
Probably modded Assetto Corsa
please re-drive the Sesto Elemento!
We need a link for the track Ben , I can probably find it on #RaceDepartment Thx for the ride
I see you went to the jimmy carr school of motoring 😂
Lets go , love it x
Is it Assetto Corsa?
Yes
More to be done in simracing = VR :)
Absolutely.
I think you have the same problem with sim racing that I have in the past.
It’s a virtual 3D Environment on an 2D Screen. You would be much faster in VR, because of the depth. So you can see much better the breaking points
Try it
Almost did a "Mat Armstrong" there..
Stig on GT7? 🤔
Upvote for use of "squirley"
This is the SimRacer to RealRacer but in reverse.
🥲that thumbnail is a crime
Haha
What game is this I want try beat the rig in my rig
Probably modded Assetto Corsa
assetto corsa?
Nice!
Thanks!
That input lag is soul destroying.
Should of used the shifter!
Stig-n-a-Rig
Just my opinion but the steering ratio looks well out to me. 🤷♀
I will check that -
Mr Collins, PLEASE switch to VR.
You have 6.75sub... so drive a 675lt lol.
VR is superior
Out run in a snes........
No VR no buy
ok
put on your helmet lol it's a Koenigsegg.
Stop messing around and get yourself on Iracing (that should anger a few 😬😂)
Im on - Ben Collins Stig - yep had some insults and luckily for them i havent figured out how to respond 🤣🤣
@@BenCollinsGaming yeah that sounds about right, the name was always going to attract some attention 😂
u crashed it more in the game than for real lol
wow..old man sheeeite...ac look bad
I make vehicle mods for videos. Hit me up if you'd like me to make you a car to your specifications for a collab
now hear me out, it's in BeamNG, but it's not just a crashing game, it's fully physics based, nothing is faked like normal sims, so it'll give you an experience you've never had before (then you can crash the car)
Hello there
@@imvivalamilo lol I've been spotted
Sounds interesting - can i start by changing the colour ..??
@@BenCollinsGaming I feel this reply was for someone else? Changing the colour of a car is incredibly easy, you don't even need to mod a car to do that usually
WHAT'S THAT?.... PS3? 😂😂😂. LOOKS AWFUL
