Yes, more adverbs would be helpful. I think adverbs in general are harder to grasp than nouns and verbs, but you explained all these really clearly. Thx again Grace😉
THAT WAS SO CLEAR!!! Thank you.🎉 If you are considering other video ideas like this, please consider 然 and 於. Especially 於, I always have such a hard time feeling out this one. Every time I hear or read this character I just stare at it cause I never understand what it means or where it is trying to take me. It doesn’t make it any easier that simplified Chinese also made 於 and 與 into 于!!!
剛好 is also often used by the cashiers/vendors when u buy stuff 「有剛好嗎?」as in "Do you have exact change?" in English. I suppose the literal meaning would be "Do you happen to have(it)?" so now it makes perfect sense haha
Haha your acting scenes are fantastic! You do such a great job with the expressions and delivery, they always make me smile! Thank you very much for all the great videos, I’m having a great time watching them and learning lots along the way! 😊

hi Grace do you have a video on why in chinese people repeat certain adjectives? (非常非常好)like that. If not can you make one please? Thanks for the Videos
It’s just my opinion but I actually would like to have more examples for every grammar introduced… the video was super helpful and interesting though ❤
hey grace keep doing your content!!! why don't you do a discord channel where everyone can help with their knowledge and also create a fun community?? it will take 10 people more or less that might be administrators of the server while the rest have fun
English has another use for "anyway", which means, "We were getting a bit off track of the original topic, so returning to the original topic, ...".. After googling it a bit, I found "话说回来”. Is this the most common expression for this situation?
The clip at 50:51... I translated it as: "as expected, there are(here we have) 3 teachers, with us looking at it the same way." Basically, agreeing with the guy(s) holding the paper. So at least three teachers have the same opinion on the matter (at hand/in question) as them. Wondering if that is correct because I try to translate subtitles more literally for better understanding.
As a person who has learned a lot from you over these 2 years I must say thanks for your amazing efforts! Some changes confused me. I found the increased amount of hand gestures so distracting it actually made it hard for me to understand the content... you can delete this message, I wouldn't mind. But anyways you're awesome, and we all appreciate you!
It would be useful if you had BOTH examples for the adverbs that can be placed before or after the subject . Still a fantastic video always love learning from your vids !
很高興你喜歡!To say "helpful" you can say "很有幫助”. We usually add adjectives after 讓人. Verbs can also be added after 讓人, but they need to be verbs that can represent a psychological state. For example, 讓人擔心 ("makes people worried"). (我知道你看了我另一部影片學的,所以跟你解釋一下哈哈)
What are these black and blue labels? Which one should I look at? I tried to copy down the adverbs, but I didn't even figure out where ius the corrrect way od spelling them.
Good job as always president! I feel you explained everything very well as usual I love how you speak in third person after your examples even though your are the person being talked about 😂 #Grace4president #shealreadyisthough #Nodebate #getouttaheroffice😆❤️❤️

Thank you Josh! 🥳💛
I would also love more adverbs! I always mystified why - 然 seems to be so prevalent with adverbs.

雖然中文是我們的母語但我每次看你的影片都還是覺得收穫好多,思考了很多從出生到現在都沒有思考過的問題
aw,queen is back!
i love how she shows zhuyin and traditional characters, on top of her great explanations.
I love that you teach adverbs like this that don’t have a one to one translation in English it’s so useful
