@@reaperz5677 Yaaaaay, I’m glad you like those. If you want an extra one, at 15:17 watch it at 0.25x speed and right when it cuts to Jacob’s face, you can see that there is a normal face for one frame, and then it cuts to his smile face. Seems to be a pretty consistent thing throughout the entire game where between cuts it takes like half a second to load in. Makes for some really funny realizations when editing.

This is a nitpick, of course, but how the fuck can you be this lazy and/or incompetent when making games? It seems like they haven't learned anything throught these 8 years of game developing and, in fact, kinda regressed more than anything.
Oh, and before I forget, I fucking love the constant use of Phoenix Wright sound effects/skits. They're great.
The reason why Abigail didn't turn after she got bit is because Kaylee is the one who bit her. The game says that if you kill a werewolf that either bit you or a werewolf that turned a werewolf that bit you, you will be cured of the curse. Since Laura killed Kaylee, Abigail was cured before she turned for the first time. I was confused as to why that happened during my playthrough, too.
However, considering that Kaylee's death is something that happens no matter your choices, it ultimately makes that whole sequence where Abi was running from the werewolf pointless. So Adam was actually completely right when he said that it wasn't going to matter, because it literally doesn't.
Thank you for this note! I was considering that before I included my editors note at the end, but it’s just confusing because the game never really specifies that. I feel like there are so many werewolves running around in the beginning of the game that it could have also been Caleb. So regardless, I still expressed my confusion.
But I didn’t even notice the fact that it furthers Adums point about it not mattering. That’s very funny😂
I think the only difference getting bit makes is Abigail is able to fight off the big guy if they get caught in the lodge. She's confused about her own strength, aaand that's the only indication that she's turning ever.

What I like most about this is that the developers thought this out and it makes perfect sense, yet the game decides that Dylan is alive despite being brutally ripped apart for 20 seconds in a scene shot from multiple different angles

Despite all of my problems with this game, I still enjoyed it and i was nowhere near as bored and irritated as i was with the dark pictures games. Their newest game, The devil in me, made this game look award worthy.
A saw style serial killer game could have been so cool... but the setup was too long and the killer was the most basic, uninspired design I've seen in a while.
I'm a supermasive fan but they have to hit a higher average quality with the next season of dark pictures, medan was fun and I genuinely really like house of ashes but the rest have been duds.
@@jamiekeane471 house of ashes is so fun. but yeah, it's a shame... i really like this niche of choice-based campy horror games, but the standards have really slipped.
Ngl I think House of Ashes and Devil in Me are the _better_ ones of the series, felt like they were actually starting to nail the multiple pathways a bit more in those games. Man of Medan was boring and Little Hope just pissed me off with its ending that retroactively ruins it's entire story 😅

This game had some awful writing and an even worse ending. But playing it with my fiance and watching her leave 2 characters behind to die lets me hold that hypothetical "if we were attacked would you help me?" Over her head. So that alone was worth it.

There're plenty of endings, some better than others.
I'm fairly certain There's a "everyone becomes a Werewolf" ending.
Just finished the game myself, I really enjoyed it as a dumb 80's cheesy horror like film experiance.

God, I hope this company keeps making terrible games. I have no interest whatsoever in playing them myself, but I'm always extremely invested in seeing Adum and Pals suffer through the experience on my behalf. It's like vicariously living though somebody else's misery xD
Their not terrible. The writing is just bad cause that’s what It’s gunning for, cheesy terrible naked teenagers from 80s horror films that were sex and gore first and plot and story second

Until Dawn was okay, it had a certain novelty at least. Then all the games after were really not any good.

He's got a point. From the start the games have been campy slasher films and thats been the idea Until Dawn through to today. Some of the writing is genuinely bad, sure, but that can't take away from the overarching goal.
Funny enough its meant to do exactly what it did for them. Sit around, fuck around, laugh at it, see what you stumble across. Who's alive by the end, if you even get to the end, and who you get killed.
Love the numerous anime and manga references in the editing lol. It’s amazing.

The more games I see from these devs the more it becomes clearer that Until Dawn was just a lightning in a bottle game they could never replicate on their own. The game was so bad even the game couldn't decide who made it out alive in Adum's playthrough. 🤦
I was more invested in Scoot finally getting his first Tarot card compared to anything happening this game. 1:13:18 A shame he got snubbed by Granny.

Honestly I think they just did that because writing and animating more variable paths with another character was just a bit to much for the developers maybe due to budget or deadlines.

I am so tired werewolves never looking like actual werewolves. They look more like the wendigo's from Until Dawn, to the point I'm pretty sure they just reused the wendigo models with minor edits to them.
If you're gonna call them werewolves, I wanna see something on par with the Hugh Jackman Van Helsing werewolf, or Werewolf: The Apocalypse werewolves. Stop being scared of furries and just give the people what they want!

The Old Fortune Teller Woman (Silas' mom) is actress Grace Zabriskie. Holy SHIT! Many may know her from Twin Peaks, but she was Captain Trantor in the infamous Roger Corman Alien cash-in/knock off: Galaxy of Terror. The whole movie is this weird X-rated horror movie footnote. That was the movie where James Cameron met long time friend and collaborator, Bill Paxton. That was one of James Cameron's first gigs as a ghost director, filming the movie's most infamous scene: the Maggot rape scene. James Cameron was the Production Designer and second unit director, officially, but ended up directing that scene because the actual director walked off set.
It doesn't stop there! Galaxy of Terror is the rare case of a knock off affecting the official sequel to the movie it cashed in on. James would go on to take what he learned filming Galaxy of Terror when filming Aliens. The giant maggot almost killed actress Taffee O'Connell on set because it was so heavy. He substituted titanium instead of steal for the rigging for the Queen Alien to prevent a similar situation.
The cast of Galaxy of Terror is insane: Robert Englund (Freddy Kruger), Sid Haig (Captain Spalding), Eran Moran (Joanie love Chachi- Happy Days) , Ray Walston (My Favorite Martian), Zolomin Cane (Later directed Red Shoe Diaries- a theatrically released porno starring David Duchovny), Taffee O'Connell (her acting career was ruined by the film, but now is a producer for similar zero budget horror moves), and Grace Zabriskie.

Lin Shaye was the mother in 'Dead End' which is one of my favorite horror films.
I'm glad these games exist purely so I can watch these lads play them. Same goes for Life is Cringe. For me, there is no substitute to AdumPlaze.
The only thing that comes close to satisfying my desire for a full-on dumpster fire gameplay with good commentary is Let's Game it Out. Also, this video's editor absolutely killed it.
