I am glad they are laughing about this. I didn't know if it was on purpose or what! Cage realizing for the first time that the pidgeons where drugged is amazing.
Maybe the connection is even stronger. The movie is from 1988, the novel American Psycho was first published in 1991 and Brett Easton Ellis is a known movie buff...
He just taught us at UCA Farnham, and he said and I quote "Don't listen to them, listen to me, I'm teaching you, I am the man!" He also said "the thing about writing scripts is you can be dyslexic, tasmanian, whatever, it's no excuse for a shoddy script." Bob was great.
Thanks for your love and support and also being one of my top fan I really appreciate you a lot 🤗❤ Write me on; ncage163@gmail.com Hope you’re keeping safe?
The cockroach scene is the only movie scene that actually almost made me throw up. Usually I just get grossed out, but I don't feel an urge to vomit. This scene actually made me feel like I would need to run to the bathroom to empty my stomach.

Is this all on the DVD release? Anyone know if it's on the region 2 release? I rarely listen to the audio commentary for a film, but I'll make an exception for this masterpiece.
And maybe the Wicker man. What ? Did I said something wrong ? Killing me won't change anything. What's that (I'm pretty sure you know what's next) ? NOOO, NOT THE BEES ! AAAAAAAH ! THEY'RE IN MY EYES ! AAAAAAAAH !
It always kills me when he nails the lamp at 3:07. Kicks the absolute shit out of that poor lamp. 😆
How can kicking a lamp be fun... HOLY SHIT LOL
Incredible he got that in one shot. Perfect.

"What, you thought you were such a good actor you could catch pigeons? You can't catch pigeons!"
It's good to know Cage has a sense of humour about his acting.
I just realised what a strong influence this film had on bale's performance in american psycho

Some call Nicholas Cage in this "Overacting".... I call it amazing.
It's BIG acting.
Cage is the most fearless actor on earth.Love him Forever!!!!!!!!!
This movie is a classic
Best movie ever made.
This is fucking amazing commentary, they were literally just flying by the seat of their pants
If ever a cage movie deserved a commentary..its this.
I love how Nick pretty much opens up to deliberately hamming it up. Brilliant.
'It's just like we didn't care...." Thank god.
i'd love if they made a joke commentary for this movie, where they're all hella serious and professional about it.
"i wonder what's Alva doing today " :D

Bob was great.
I have him right now at the Met Film School.

This movie is a masterpiece, and Nicholas Cage is one of the greatest actors of his generation.
"I got a lot bad criticism for that...
...I really like that"
One of my favorite movies. Best Nic Cage performance!
I'm a really great actor, i can catch pigeons. I want that on my grave stone
Pure gold.
Robert Bierman is amazing i really wish he made more movies
The director is one of my grad school professors. Small world
HAHAHA @ "Here comes the Jagger"
I NEED the whole commentary, somehow need to acquire it, the UK DVD doesn't have it.
Does someone know where I can download the whole commentary?? thnx
I love this movie.
Cage is on my list of beat actors of all time, maybe THE best.

Why ? There's proteins in this, it's just like chicken.
"Every one of those moves was thought up in my hotel room with my cat"

best movie ever. "too late too late".
"these pigeons are drugged!!!"
:=8D
Now could we have Cage do the commentary for Deadfall please?
There is a podcast available here on YT. He got into how a promising movie degenerated into a hot but unexpectedly entertaining mess.
And maybe the Wicker man. What ? Did I said something wrong ? Killing me won't change anything. What's that (I'm pretty sure you know what's next) ?
NOOO, NOT THE BEES ! AAAAAAAH ! THEY'RE IN MY EYES ! AAAAAAAAH !
I bet Women group in Wicker Man actually Alva's relative. They lured Nic Cage to island to get revenge on tormenting Her.
0:41 hahahahaha right timing
Back when hollywood didn' care but still made gold..
Vampires kiss isnt bad nor good, its an experience.
one of my favorite movies
The fact that they actually got Nic to do a commentary about this, is kind of incredible.
I always loved this movie.
How did you get the commentary?
I have always loved this movie and it is all because of Cages’ amazing quirky acting! I absolutely love it!!
I understood what it's about! Great film! Super great actor!!!
where can i find the full version of this?
The staking part disturbed me the most.
When was this made?
1988 😉
Some of these scenes are out of order.
nic cage eating a coatroach
