That was the time when Alice had a alcohol problem but he was and is really kind hearted AND I am glad that he is still awesome, gorgeous and clean since 1983/84😍🎸
The 70s was so relaxed & so cool. Best decade in the history of mankind. Long gone. People walked into these TV shows with drinks, cigars, cigarettes & GREAT personalities! Much of the literature, the movies & the music from the 70s has really stood the test of time.
In 1973 my older brother ran through the house screaming "Alice Cooper is on Hollywood Squares!" We turned on the TV and there he was. I couldn't comprehend why I was so fascinated but I knew it was something special.
Wow how smart is he. A true showman giving us just what we want an escape into fantasy. Been a fan for life. From 16 to 63 and he is still going at 73 amazing. Gotta love the Coop.
I met Alice when I was twelve years old. At the airport in phoenix az. Me and my dad were dropping off my uncle bill, and he was there with a bodyguard. Me and my dad went over to talk to him, and I got an autograph signed al coop. And it turned out that Mr vince furnier and my dad knew alot of the same people, kuz they went to the same high school, but vince was two years ahead of my dad. He was senior, when my dad was sophomore. And that time at the airport was 1981. One of my best memories meeting a rocknroll gawd!!!!!
Back in the early 2000's I had a stall at the Queen Victoria market in Melbourne Australia, Alice Cooper would shop at the market when ever he was in town and sure enough he walked past my stall, had a quick look and keep walking, it was the perfect opportunity to speak to one one of my all time favourites and I just froze !
He handled the interviewer well and showed great thought and intellect. The original band was the best. My fave of the era, great songs, clever lyrics, and an amazing show. I know several people who have worked with and met him and all said he was an excellent person. I enjoyed this video.
Funny how he was mentioning Maurice Escargot as early as 1975, and would later use that character for his 1977 lace and whiskey album. This interview must have been right before he started recording goes to hell. Real classic interview. Thanks for uploading !!
Great footage. Alice on top of this interview all the way. I saw him in concert a few years back and lucky to get the drumstick the drummer threw in crowd. Still got it and now I drum. It was prophetic
Haha! ''Kids are smarter than their parents'', Yea, l used to think that TOO! Some may be, but they're certainly not WISER than them ...for the most part. So glad that he, is alive, and SAVED by the blood of the LAMB! :D _ALL GLORY_ goes to The KING of kings, and LORD of lords!
I love old interviews with Alice (Vince). Even when he was a young, alcoholic, rock star, he was well-spoken, witty, charming, and respectful.
I was his roadie in Sydney.Could not meet a nicer man.
Back when I was in Australia(2016 until 2019) He had his RockShow Radio on a Friday evening... Does He still do that show ??

I met Alice. Shook his hand and got a selfie. A real gentleman.
Cool. I met Alice twice at two different cd/vinyl signings in the early 1990s, got my limited edition Schools Out vinyl signed
There’s no one more talented, humorous and nicer in the rock world than Alice.

My Dad's a 50 year old Alice Cooper, how crazy is that ? Alice is 75 now and I feel so old.
I saw Alice Cooper in concert in 1978 in Baltimore ,Md. He put on a fantastic show, probably had one of the tightest bands he ever had.
I saw Alice in the late 70s with Atlanta Rhythm Section in Boston. What an incredible show. The maestro and late, great, Dick Wagner on lead guitar.
I am glad that I found this.....listen to him first time in 1975.
Great interview. Alice is very intelligent and funny. $7 to see a concert back then. Wow!

Great interview. Welcome To My Nightmare is my favorite period of Alice's career.
This was an interesting person when I grew up. I loved schools out. I bought the record and said, wow!!

I love how the camera zooms in on the bag when he said people think I am the way I am because I watch to much television.
Schools out for Summer came out the year I graduated from High School ...Fantastic Song Now!!

So young and enthusiastic. Fun interview.
I was fortunate enough to see Alice Cooper w/ Motley Crue a few yrs ago. Best showman EVER!
Brings his beverages with him to the interview.
Alice has always been really cool and funny! And he is back in Church. Awesome
Great artist.... got into him much later on as a teenager my very first album was "Alice Cooper Goes To Hell".....
Alice Cooper 10/10 Excellent
Even getting drunk faced & blowing kisses at random women, he still is very well spoken & holds a lot of integrity.
Marilyn Manson and KISS owe this guy a debt of gratitude!
Hard to be brilliant and drunk at the same time. Coop pulled it off.
Alice Cooper
The Greatest
Favorite AC song

@7:25 Wow Alice looks like Chris Cornell. Funnily enough they worked together on the 'Last Temptation' Album.
