I have always liked his game. Lakers need mo dawgs for when they go up against these young bulls. Every team in the west got these athletic 6'5 - 6'8 guys that the Lakers haven't had!!
The Lakers are trying to build a defensive team, getting rid of DLO was addition by subtraction to begin with. He couldn't guard a parked car, and as the PG of a team you will match up against some of the best players in the league on a daily basis. Both DFS and Shake will play hard defense and both can be effective stretching the floor with Bron and AD in the paint. The Lakers have made it clear, if you do not play defense your job is not safe
