@@rgncal4872 In a lot of ways Jaxson is what the Lakers need though, but they also need one more true big. Having Jax injured hurts them in a lot of ways
I'd be pretty happy if the Lakers traded for like Duop/Sharpe/Richards. But it'd be even better IF they somehow pull off that Raptors Trade, love the idea of adding Ochai and Poetl
@@LakerTriangle considering the value of 1st round picks at present are diminished or because of the inflated market, a first round for a potential 6th man is fair, you want the other team to give the player that you want. Miles Bridges just got traded for 5 first round picks and he's not even an all star player.
@@LakerTriangle the only realistic target right now is Fox but everything has to be in favor of the Lakers for them to land him. Fox has to inform teams he would only resign with Lakers and tge Kings should be willing to do business with the Lakers. Kings might want AR and Rui so that's a lot to give up.
This will only work in certain matchups though, they need to find someone who is either at the end or beginning of their career who is comfortable coming into and out of the starting lineup. Someone who expects to start every night is going to be bad for chemistry. AD should start at center against tomato cans, and whatever center they find is going to help for big lineups
@@jeremiahdent0826 Kessler just earned his starting spot, it could work but I would assume he wants to keep starting now. A year too late on Kessler IMO but maybe
Out of the options talked about today I think JV or one of the young guys like Duop, Sharpe, or Richards makes the most sense. I know Lakers fans want someone glamorous but I don't think it would benefit them to have someone who's always expecting to start. They need someone who is okay with sitting out of the lineup occasionally because of matchups. Kessler is young and finally earned his starting spot, I don't think he'd be happy coming off the bench again. Poeltl similarly has been a bonafide starter since 2020. JV has already done his time so I believe he'd be willing to take on a Dwight Howard role if called upon
I'm glad I'm not the only one thinking that about Gabe Vincent, he has been pretty solid and efficient for the team and playing with some more confidence. Worst timing ever to trade him I think JJ and the rest of the Lakers org probably see that at least.
MAAN I WISH YALL STOP SAYING BACKUP CENTER!! WE NEED A STARTING CENTER THAT CAN FOCUS ON DEFENSE AND CAN SCORE WHEN NEED BE!!! AD IS NOT A CENTER STOP manipulating THE NARRATIVE!!
I like the idea of Duop and/or Sharpe. Good job by you. Thanks for putting in the work and NOT just grabbing a microphone and REPEATING narratives from elsewhere; and I wouldn't trade Vincent, Woods, OR Vanderbilt. Period.
If gabe even falls down to earth at 36-38% on the same number of attempts that is still incredibly valuable for us. He also seems like a great vet for us. Id be really happy if we could pull off a smaller salary deal and keep rui gabe and vando 😢 we have such a complete team if vando could stay healthy. Just need a big body
As much as I'd like to see them get Kessler, given the Jazz/Danny Ainge HIGH asking price, I'd go after Nick Richards, Day'Ron Sharpe or even Dupp Reath (he's actually pretty intriguing, tho i know little about him, beyond what this clip shared, admittedly...but i like his mobility & range, compared to the 2 aforementioned). THEN, look to land an athletic, POA defensive type guard (at the very least, capable, defensively. But definitely one who can break down the D, get downhill, offensively) Truly believe should the FO manage that, we'd be serious contenders. JMHO
Jakob is a good passer and i think JJ could run offense through him. My first choice is Kessler. Word came out that the jazz hesitated to trade kessler to LA cause they were worried it would lower the value of there LA picks. Especially if LA acquired another young talent to go with kessler. So i think if you do a 3 team trade for a older win now player the jazz will trade him. Cause then The lakers are still set up to lose in 27 &29. Maybe jermai grant .
If im the Lakers, they should trade for Nick Richards and call it for right now unless something pops up. Wood weas never a good fit with this team and I been said this and i still don't know why they drafted JHS so this can fix both of those wrongs. The Poetl trade is interesting but i would do it if he is fine playing as a backup on a playoff team. Question is what is their opinion for the PG route or maybe even finding a Reddish replacement for now
AD and Dwight had falling out on the lakers bench one day, all of a sudden people rather bring back Tristan Thompson than let a still effective Dwight come back for damn near free. They lost to the nuggets 2 years after just using Dwight (with McGee) to cut the head off that snake in 2020. If Dwight slows down Jokic and the nuggets size advantage just a little bit, Lakers win those series too.
thats stupid even for you to type. This makes 0 sense for the Lakers to do. Trade Gabe who plays PG and makes 11 mil for a big that makes 3 mill. You obviously stink at math
Bro, did you hear about how Dwight Howard got fked over from his now fired agent on a 7 mil Lakers deal? He found out that when he was on the podcast with Jamie and how they made him the offer but was fked over cause the agent said no but Dwight still wanted to be a laker. Man if they had him still he would have for sure would have stopped the Joker in the playoffs for sure.
Danny Ainge is a hater. Lakers need a starting center and walker Kessler is the answer. Also no one wants gabe Vincent him and Dlo need to go I’m not being fooled by they play. Rather have Keon Ellis or I pray if the bulls bought him out Lonzo Ball. AR, Max, Bron, AD, Kessler Zo, Dalton, Rui/Vando, DFS, whoever at the 5. Is a WCF minimum.
It's not Danny Ainge job to help Lakers proof you don't know basketball 🏀 and a casual that's like if Nuggets said Danny Ainge a hater because they wouldn't give them Colin Sexton
@ he don’t want first round picks and an expiring deal cause new flash no one is giving 3 first rounders for walker Kessler but probably LA and still should only do 2.
The lakers kept jhs out of the nets trade for a reason.. he’s going to get traded with his contract with either a minimum contract or with Rui. Rui has to go after getting do, he just doesn’t make sense anymore do has to start cause Rui is completely 1 dimensional.

Jakob
Wood is good offensively but we need size and defense
....AND, he's actually only 6'9
Day’Ron Sharpe gives me a younger Dwight Howard-ish vibe, regarding being a strong sturdy center who is great at rebounding and protecting the rim
Duop Reath sounds like a great deal. Good fit and is cheap.

Hell no
