As an inconsistent BB-AA player at peak, I never had coaching or though much about this. Makes great sense as fluid mobility and good position are so crucial as I've experienced good & bad. The open-cross over is quicker & less effort than the muscle-memory shuffle of (many) indoor sports. Good stuff!
2 years ago I know, but the counter to head drop is to drop whole self at the base legs/waist I presume right? Training a lot on quick squats & balance low to ground in plant.
