It’s so much better to wait. Let your baby reveal themselves to you when they’re born🥰I loved waiting to find out and when I gave birth to my son I honestly already knew deep down he was a boy, but it was still a lovely thing to ‘find out.’ Such a great moment❤
We waited to find out the gender with my first baby. Due in Oct with baby #2 and we are waiting again! Waiting makes the birth that much more special ❤❤❤
I’m 29 weeks and love watching your vids bc sage is around the same age as my first so it’s so sweet to see you going through the same things and reminding me of things I need to do. We are always waiting with this one, mainly bc our first gender reveal was….shocking (KNEW it was a boy…and we have a little girl). Plus surprising me is hard and I also love surprises.

That’s great😍. I did this with my first born and it was amazing to find out that out baby was a girl. So wait until you give birth, I think you’ll love it. These emotions are very different (in a good way🥰).

We also kept it a surprise! Prepping for a baby whether it is a boy or girl is pretty much the same so that's what we did!

Just like in the old days... you know whether it's a boy or a girl literally as you are birthing him/her.😁 Girl-girl is awesome, girl-boy is also amazing; I wish you and your family health and happiness!
We also waiting with my first son and he also made it easy by always hiding in ultrasounds etc.
Personally it was the best surprise of my life and will cherish that experience for ever. Baby 2 is not as reserved and he decided to show himself to the world at every ultrasound 😂😂😂
We waited until birth to find out the gender of our babies. What a great experience it was! It’s so much fun to not know and we referred to baby as BOJ (Bundle of Joy) for my son and Bump for my daughter. You look so beautiful and I’m excited to find out out the gender of your sweet babe!❤ Congratulations!!!!

I will never forget the feeling of getting to pull my baby out and putting him on my belly and after a minute we turned him over and discovered we had a little boy!! I can still remember everything in such detail. Waiting can be hard but nobody ever regrets it! 💕 we are due with baby number 5 in November and it will be another surprise! So much fun 🥳

Wow I can't believe how fast your pregnancy have gone. It has been such fun following your journey. Especially since I'm pregnant too. I'm 38+3 weeks. So I have followed both your old videos and new. The iced drink you drank at the beginning of the video looks so delicious. Do you have a recipe for it?
Onesie decorating contest! Get a bunch of white onesies and fabric markers and have everyone make a onesie for the new baby. Can make it a contest and pick which ones you like best too.
Lol I didn’t set an alarm when I was pregnant either 🤣 it felt so good getting 9 hours of sleep! You definitely need it when you’re growing a baby! 😜

Love that you're waiting! We wanted to wait too but that bloodwork that was NOT supposed to have gender on it had it for some reason so I accidentally saw 😢 not the surprise we wanted but we made it special telling our families. Enjoy the surprise!!

So fun you guys are waiting to find out the gender! We waited for our baby who was born late last year. We now have a baby girl! The last month or two of the pregnancy, we had a strong feeling it was going to be a girl. If we have a second, I think I might want to know ahead of time, lol, but I know my husband will want to be surprised again. Looking froward to finding out what you guys will be having!

Good for you for doing a surprise on the gender. I’m currently almost 39 weeks with our second and we are also doing a surprise. I do agree that one of the hardest parts is not really using a pronoun for the baby…I end up saying they a lot which feels weird because it’s just one baby lol.

At my sprinkle a couple months ago we did a jeopardy game! Some of the categories were baby facts, famous sisters, tv babies, etc. we had one category that was trivia about me and my first birth/Daughter! We split everyone into 3 teams and whoever raised their hand first to answer got points for their team! It was a blast!

The game “Price is Right” is fun for a coed shower! (I recommend changing up the list of items versus using the standard template. For example- a specific car seat, stroller or baby monitor rather than baby wipes, bottles.) 🤑

Just had my 2nd baby on July 4th and we had. Surprise gender birth this time and it I think it adds an extra special element.
I’m 33 weeks pregnant and we also aren’t finding out!
We found out with our daughter who is now 2 and decided this time we wanted the surprise! It’s so exciting not knowing 🥰

We knew for two of our boys and didn't find out for our middle one (that was the most fun)!!! When he was born my husband told our oldest first and let him tell the family (that was so cute too)!

Baby Sprinkle, lol that's cute! We had a "diaper party" and it was just my husband and his friends and each friend brings a box of diapers. They guys chill out, drink beer and do "guy stuff" lol and we ended up with a year's worth of diapers!

We waited to find out the gender of our babe and it's literally the best surprise of your life. It's how you felt when you found out Sage was a girl, but x1000. It's hard to explain, but so worth the wait!
My favorite game is where everyone races to see who can finish a baby bottle first! That ones fun, or also hot potato but using only your legs!

I already told my partner we're not finding out til the birth if we decide to try and have kids because Matt is right, that's precisely why I don't want to know, there are few surprises left in life. I imagine it'll provide extra motivation during labour too.
❤❤❤ so I’m pregnant with baby #1 17 weeks, and we always spoke about not wanting to know the gender. We told our friends and family everyone thought we were crazy, fast forward to our genetic testing, I didn’t know the gender would be on that test as well. I pulled up my results just in case the dr didn’t receive them to have them handy, got curious to make sure everything showed negative on the genetic test and behold…. “Hormone consistent with Male fetus” I was so mad with myself!!!! LOL I’m beyond excited for you both!!! It’s like the universe didn’t want you to know but it did with me!!!! 😂😂
I had considered waiting until birth to find out baby #2's gender but my husband convinced me to find out! It is going to be fantastic surprise for you!
We also waited to find out the gender at birth. I was so magical. I though we were having a boy... until I did my maternity shoot... i was like wait there might be a little girl in my tummy. When the wall paper in the nursery was placed I had the same feeding we might have a girl.
We ended up have the amazing fast delivery (induction) due to extrem bloodloss. So the cherry on top of meeting our child early was finding out the gender. We had a little girl.
We just had baby #2 and we did a surprise gender 😄 It was so much fun!! We picked a boy and girl name, bought a custom beanie for each, packed girl and boy outfits for the hospital. I will say the moment the baby came out and my husband got to look at the baby first to reveal the gender and when he said “it’s a girl” it was so sweet and emotional 😭💕💕 It was so special and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I had a cesarean and the entire OR room was celebrating the surprise with us. When they wheeled us to our room all the nurses in L&D were asking “so what was it?” And everyone celebrated the surprise with us💝 It was all so special and if we have a 3rd we will probably do the same thing. Now we have 2 sweet girls and we couldn’t be happier. 19 months and 2 weeks old 🥰🥰

I didn’t find out and I kept saying “he” that people thought I knew lol but I tried to say both he or she but it usually came out he lol. I loved the surprise it was the best rewards after a labor. I thought it was boy all the way up until the day of labor and I swore it was a girl that day but it was a BOY lol
props to you for doing yoga frig i couldnt do anything i was so lazy and tired no motivation and my pregnancy the second time was easier then my first , and i had a 2 year old to deal with maybe thats why lol. i relaxed like 99% of the time. For both my boys I did a baby shower/gender reveal with all family and friends, we played games by figuring out if its a boy or girl like an escape room theme. it was awesome there was alot of things to distract me lol, but i knew both times it was boys. I couldnt wait to find out but also wanted to have all the baby clothes and stuff up and put away at 3 months lol but getting gender neutral is WAY WAY too expensive in canada so I needed to know. Im glad i did cause i didnt have to do anything last minute, even had my bags packed lol, congrats and best of luck!

Totally support whatever you choose. However, when people say they want it to be a surprise, it's always a surprise no matter when you find out, not just if you wait til birth.
Yes that’s true but waiting 9 months to find out definitely makes the surprise more anticipated. This is just what we’re choosing to do it’s not to down play or take away the experience from parents who find out right away. We did with sage and both ways is exciting just different

You should do the prepregnancy clothes challenge before baby comes! Might be fun to look back on!
Get a few oversized shirts (game for the guys) & then blow up balloons that will fit under the shirts so the guys can experience what it feels like to have a belly. Then line up chairs on one side, get the guys to take off their shoes & have them stand on opposite side of the chairs. Then you take their shoes & all at once you throw them randomly in the middle of both sides, the guys then have to get their pair & get to the chair to put on their shoes, laced up & everything. The first guy that puts them back on, wins. This was so fun at my baby shower. A lot of the guys messed with each other throwing each others shoes off or pulling the laces & it just made it hilarious to see them trying to put on their shoes with the balloon bellies

We have a 19mo girl and I’m pregnant due in early December. We have the gender information in the envelope in our car, it’s been sitting there over 6 weeks now, we still haven’t looked :) trying to figure out what to do with it 🙈

Gender announcements at birth are the best feeling
I have 9 children. We had a girl, then a boy, then a girl, and then another boy. When we got pregnant with number 5, I was like TIE BREAKER!! We decided to wait and be surprised and it was THE BEST. I want to wait next time if we have another.
