They didn't pay attention to anything that has been said about this patch or the changes they have been making or made at this point. I mean its been said by the dev team and notable Conan Exiles YTers like FireSpark and Wak for months now that you have to spec into thrall to make them good, other wise they will likely die if not very careful with them.
Best-in-Slot Greatsword in Siptah is not the Grey Ones but rather a maxed out Great Sword of the Legion. This is a weapon with "variable" trait that means every attribute (damage, armor pen, durability, weight) is crafted within 85%-115% of the original numbers. With a T4 Bladesmith and a master weapon fitting this Great Sword of the Legion can reach 92 damage, 38 armor pen while remaining above 1000 durability. You just have to craft a lot of them. There are also better options for strength armor in Siptah.
What is a BiS GS of the Legion base-stats? Rolling for one and I've seen DMG roll up to 87, and AP up to 27%. Currently trying to roll both onto one sword, but are 87/27% the best base roll?
@@AetherDude101 Sorry for the late answer but yes you are correct : best base stats roll for GS of the Legion is 87 DMG / 27% AP 👌 I only managed to craft 87/26 pieces though, somehow the 27%AP rolls too rarely for me 😤 Good luck if you're still on it !
Friend just got back from holiday from before 3.0 went live so i helped him build your last 1 hander STR build but he prefers a two hander, (he found Jedi..s Greatsabre and loves the sound effects) so i'm currently putting together the gear. I'm loving the agility katana build, so good with Black Corsair outfit.

Food hasn't changed same foods for thralls as its always been. I have a video on it should still be up to date. Just search thrall foods or something like that on the channel.
Sorcerers Greataxe on siptah is a great choice for corruption builds ive only got 15 points in strength and dont use dmg buffs and deal 450-500 dmg on the heavy finisher with it
You can exchange the executioner hood for the Redeemed legion helmet, it will give you 8% damage for strength (when made by t4 Thralls) and it gives more armor, for the pants you could go for the champion leggings, it's the same str bonus, but with more armor it will also clear a little bit of corruption from time to time
You would have to craft redeemed with a bonus armor crafting thrall to get more armor. I highly suggest not doing that and using the weight thrall but yes it is an option. Yup you are right champ legs do give a bit more armor. Good catch.
@@Firespark81 even with crafting more armor into it, it still ends up 8% at the same time, basically anything that is crafted is now waay better than any legendary armor
@@RsDimi2 q.b. the eldarium recipes are bad, the weapons that would give extra damage for stuff like acidity or poison still work, but the weapons that would give like +5str +10 vit +2 all those weapons are completely worthless now (until next update lol)
Hey FireSpark, can you run some test on two builds. Well perks really. That last perk choice in Authority. Can you run Skelo's Master Armor on yourself plus elixir and food buff for followers then test with the perk for a single thrall with RHTS in the min/max thrall strength armor set up. Then take the perk that allows for two thralls and make a copy of the first RHTS and run both of them. I'm curious as to the damage difference and if the two weaker thralls have enough survivability to take on bosses. Also try corrupting the first three perks to see if they are worth it. And I guess overall see if those two perks just require different builds in regards to the rest of the players perks.
Stamina has a decent regen by default, if your back isn't too pressed to a wall. Get perk 2 of Grit and you're good to go. By end game if you have thralls or pets getting the enemy's attention for you then stamina is really a non-issue.
@@sik3xploit I maxed out the followers skill line, when Thralls follow they gain extra armour and if you damage the enemies they heal as well. My sherpa was 8000+, but when following me it was over 13,000 + I love that skill line.
Problem was the devs wanted to keep magic constant with Conan lore. The spells can give an edge in combat the darkness spell and the fog spell. Specifically. Personally the invisible spell and ice bridge and wind spell are nice for doing base raids. Not to mention getting temp thralls from grave.
I use a agility weapon build on Siptah. I use the Voidforged Gladius and max Attribute+2 Corruption. And the middle version of the Silent Legion Armor. With the Gladius combo (1*strong and then many small attack) I can deal a big damage in short time. Like killing a cursed Berserker in seconds ;)
Swap ur platings for armor reduc since u aren't really adding much damage reduc anyways from that extra armor, then pull the 5 expertise for 5 Agi and get that extra armor pen
Redeemed Ledion Helmet and Chest piece have +8% strenght weapon damage (that's3% more), but they are harder to repair. Pictish warchief set has more armor than hyborean slaver, but are only part of dlc. I believe they are worth mentioning because you can craft them and are as far as I know the true min-maxing pieces. The Silent Legion Medium gloves also provide 8% strenght weapon, but they are lower armor. You lose 1% of the damage protection. Could be an option before you get the gloves you recomend.
If on siptah or an already transferred character that has learned delve if you get the great sword of the legion it has variable stats but usually it’s on par with the blade of the adventurer but in some cases you can get 95/31 stats with master weapon fitting and it’s a monster. I know the video is to show what’s easiest to get but it’s still really good choice if you get it. I’m heavy on pvp side so I usually give it to thralls but I can see it being insane in this build
Love the video rocking the god build after playing the samuria build. I want a straight up sorcery build but at least I don’t think there is a mage build but any tips or ideas for building a mage type build?? Also I play solo any good idea for builds just for solo???
Try this build with the black ice large sword combined with the black ice throwing axe (without throwing them) and the arena champion will not have any chances. She will be koed every time using the heavy combo.
Firespark your on point about the thralls being nurfed . But I think I noticed the healing arrows are buffed a lil bit to help make a difference. Can you test that firespark? It might be me but I took in a boss dragon with thralls at level 10 I can take two thralls out and heal both with healing arrows O I'm also in build mode max carry weight . So I didn't do much to the dragon. Well check those arrows out ? Thanks
The thralls aren't really nerfed. Yes they did lower things but it's to encourage people to use sorc potion on them to let you reroll their perks. They wanted thralls stats to be affected by the person that breaks them. Your authority stat makes them stronger as well as having gear that actually boosts follower stats
@@johnhimes8660 actually they did when my snow hunter was at 9.000 my bearer was at 14.000 and my dancers was at 8.000 hp. And strength now the dancer is at 60 Snow hunter is now at 38 it was 64 . But I could change perks and get well trained those numbers increase but you only take one thrall . The champion now can tear apart 3 mastered thralls that are from 3 separate players so there was a nurf . Now they need to nurf the champion. I can still beat her one on one but I won't lie it's very risky . Wish they would open door to champion and never lose the key so one can get back in without having to go back to base . Cause since the update I admit I made a few trips . Any tips on that ?

Pve wise, im curently testing and liking 20 Strengh corupted, 20 vita-9 corupted, 20 authority -10 corupted with final [perk to boost folower. well trained. really good for soloing content and leveling thralls easy, cause they get boosted 20 stats each. nice content, but clearly uve never had a love for the huntard build, wow style. sadly conan archery is subpar to melee combat.
Can you make a guide around how armor and armor stats function. for reference I am trying to do an archer build but have little understanding on what armors to choose, and all the guides a pre 3.0
i wish there was a heal on kill type perk in strength. the whole berzerker thing makes it seem like you need to play at low hp but then you get stunlocked and die because you low

At the moment I am running 10 str, 20 vit, 10 grit, 20 survival. Can't seem to live with out pack mule and glutton for punishment. Just way to useful. Think about just putting str and grit into authority and just have a double berserker army with my skills gear to do the work for me while I loot. But haven't switched yet because with the lag and the bad AI in game thralls are so sketchy. Course one time I did die in new azogaroth. Came back was sure that thralls was dead but it was standing there full health with a town load of dead bodies around it so I dunno.
Could you see if you can find a good necromancer build that uses the Skelos Master armour? The set increases follower damage by over 40% (and Agility weapon damage too)
Hi Mr Firespark you did a video on making a nock out Katana which I used on my single player. But with the new update I can seem to do it anymore. Do you know what they changed . Also the food-water trick you did . One grilled steak fills your food an water .thanks for all you do an show in your videos great job.
the corruption we get in my opinion renders the armor and the weapons completely useless, the bow is ok with unlimited arrows but they don't do all that damage
You can make this build alot stronger, no need to farm the executioner or brute helmet and godbreaker grips. The redeemed legion helmet and silent legion heavy gauntlets give between 2-3% more strength per piece and can be learned from the same place. I don't have any corrupted perks and I'm already hitting for 750 damage with teliths sorrow(which I prefer over the blade of the adventurer because it has 10% more armor penetration and doesn't cost a legendary repair kit)
I would think you'd just demon armor for max damage cause its what 10% damage per piece? Sure its time gated but if you're farming killing stuff it won't matter.
You need a purged thrall armorer in order to craft redeemed silent legion vs just killing a boss that's super easy to kill so.. and on top of it do you really need to do more than 600 damage too anything or anyone especially if you're fighting players?

It's apart of the Illusion feature (AKA: Transmog) where you place down the Sorcery table (From Shaleback Hollow, Map location: Dead Center of E5) that's if you unlocked the Sorcery for your character. All you have to do is have 2 of the same item type (2H Sword with 2H, 1H With 1H, and so on) then place the item you want to keep the stats of into the Source tab then place the item you like the look of in the appearance tab then combine. Confusing? well for example if you want a Katana to look like a Sovereign Katana Sword just place your high stat Katana into the source tab then place your Sovereign into the Appearence tab then press "Combine" and it will make your normal katana look like a Sovereign Katana sword, Note: this destroys the item in the appearance tab and the Illusion cannot be undone!.
Why use a two-handed sword instead of a warhammer? Hammers tend to have better armor penetration, equivalent damage, and also knock enemies down on the last attack of the combo, which can definitely make fights against camps or groups so much easier since you have much less of a risk of enemies hitting you while you're recovering from your combo.
I just don't like them. I find them to be way to slow. But if they are your jam then heck yea go for it! Looks like Abyssal Maul is your best bet with 72 damage.
If you like two handed then I'd recommend 7 winds katana drop from red mother. Negates all armour making it always do true damage. It's a faster attack pattern as well so makes it easier to slash through enemies
Don't know. Seems a little fragile for my liking. Stamina drain off the better swords is really troublesome too. It's a fun build. But it lacks for versatility I wouldn't want to try the wine cellar in this build for solo play. Now if you got some buddies that can distract the enemies while you come up from behind for the massive damage. That'd be some potential.
I wanted to ask the same. These guides always seem to be more about RP than actual efficiency. On the other hand it's 8 months old maybe back then balance was different.

In game description just says "Strength Weapon Damage +8%" Edit: I did some not very precise testing using a Damage Meter mod, EEWA meruvian thrall with mixed armor set, obsidian mace and Warmaker's dungeon's skeletons as targets. It looks like he does more damage with Redeemed Legion helmet.
One problem with redeemed silent legion helmet that you dingdongs didn't consider you need a purge thrall in order to craft the redeemed armor no other thralls will let you craft them so perhaps that's why and an extra 2% ain't really missing too much damage from it sorry but doing 600 damage do you really need more than that fighting a player?
@@6Vlad6Tepes6 no you dont you can farm that trall 100% without purge and you only need the thrall if you want the extra resistance you get the 8% even without the trall
Judge is easy to beat if your an archer. I just park at an angle above him. Use reach of the red mother and flint arrows since they are cheap to make. And just fire away til dead.
@@jaybethatdude I use this method for a lot of 3 skull bosses. It doesn't help with vaults but any in the world map it does work. Just gotta make sure where you park at has good line of sight to where it moves back to so you can keep the damage coming. After a few seconds of not being able to hit you the bosses go back to their spawn area and begin to heal unless attacked again.
I'm an archer based player on Conan so it's important for me to find ways to solo bosses that would normally be impossible for ranged characters not in heavy gear to handle. Because of the old archer set up I was able to get gear specifically to boost my archer based skills. Now with the update gear kinda took a little bit of a back seat you can still find agility based armour that increases it but it's not fully needed with the right weapons and strategy. No matter the map the red mother is the first boss I start farming soon as I am about lvl 20-25. Problem is that low of lvl you need a decent bow and arrows. Once you get reach of red mother to drop... Type of arrow stops mattering unless your doing pvp. Just simple flint arrows are enough to take on most mobs with rolling evasion techniques.
You can't get buff fish right now. Literally can not build improve fish trap. Says regular fish trap is an ingredient except when you pick one up it turns back to resources in your bag. Some programmer didn't think ahead on this one.
Its also not that hard to farm for. At least is use to not be. And you dont have to craft it. tbh you could just use all crafted stuff and the bonus armor thrall if you really wanted to go all out on armor.
@@Firespark81 i am playng pve on 1001 official executioner with bulked has 217 armor value and +6% str weapon damage but as he said reddemed legion helmet has 291 armor with bulked and 8% damage str weapon... i am confused... also why the numbers are different for me... on armor value than the video? maybe from the illusion?

Hello, I try exactly this setup with your same armor + I try abyssal armor too and I get only 225 damage with Abyssal maul and +-300 damage with Predatory blade. How you can make over 600????? I dont understand, I use food too
are you fighting high armor bosses? If so that's normal. Players and random thralls have a lot less armor so you will hit way harder. If you are doing 225-300 dmg on low armor targets then idk that's weird.
@Murilo Gurski I thiiink it's one of the Kinslayer weapons, which you learn in the Arena Champs room (You do not have to fight her to learn how to make these weapons and the Godbreaker and Champion armours, you need to know how to make Star Metal though. Also, you *do* however have to fight her to get the resources needed to make the armours.)
@@AmericanThunder I've never tried doing that before because invis wasn't a thing, but yea, just running the Warmakers Champ would be good enough, plus there are the 4 bonus side chambers to pick up more scraps. Personally I just cheese her to death with Snake Arrows

I just got the game beginning of this month so I'm very new at it but I have two pretty beastly thralls that I run and I didn't know about the arena girl until I watched a couple videos afterwards but she almost killed my thralls and they are pretty tough. Lol I managed to escape that time thralls on my heels at about 30% health each. She's a monster.

I had my zombies with me and the lowest of their HP is 11,000 and they barely survived, bring them with you but park them in the back of her chamber and then just cheese her to death with arrows or a star metal short sword
The corruption in strenght isnt worth it. The additional damage you do is pretty low compared to the stamina and HP you lose. if playing like this it is way better to go for an agility build.
Oh, if you go with better vitality armor and more so if it is light due to the consumption of stamina per hit, I think that in Broadsword of black ice it was around. At 211 for light hit
@@thesovietsage6688 not really no, I'd suggest using master weapon fittings over fencing attachments though, they add more damage and armor pen :) Also, try bows. Bows are really strong this update, and daggers are still really strong same as before. Short swords are ok too, but overall for agility bows and daggers are the strongest. If you want a good bow, try to get a reach of the red mother from the unnamed city, and for daggers there's either venom infused for the poison, or daggers of dagon for better damage output. If you have trouble getting reach of the red mother, as it is a pretty rare drop, other bows you can get are the hollowbone bow, it's a pretty common drop from one of the jhil bosses in the caves up north, another good bow is the dragonbone bow if you have a tier 4 bladesmith thrall. But generally I'd say to keep aiming for reach of the red mother, no other bow comes close to being as strong as it, it does 35 damage and has 42% armor pen when upgraded with the master weapon fittings, it's an absolute beast of a bow. Then for arrows, star metal arrows are fine until you get obsidian arrows. Obsidian arrows are the best arrows.
it's ok damage but personally I don't see any advantage in corrupting the attributes; getting low HP and low stamina for a few more points of damage per hit, all these builds work much better without corruption. well there is one point we can use advanced magic, but then again pouches are heavy and with corruption we can't really afford the extra weight
Still love to watch your experiences :) did you notice thralls behaving much more erratic with the update? Most times they will simply not enter battle, it's really sad to me because I do like my companions.
Depends on the stats you corrupt truthfully. Vit stat in my opinion had the best advantages to corrupting. At full corrupt attacks have a decent chance to miss. You become immune to bleed, stagger, cripple, poison. And when attacks do hit you you cause corruption and if the target can't be corrupted you cause aoe damage burst. Not to mention hp Regen which seems slow at first but when maxxed corruption the misses help make the Regen better
@@johnhimes8660 did not test a lot because iam only playing online in PvE c servers not offline, did a few tests but don't think it's worth it, Iam running full expertise and agility, can kill anything really easy and no encumbrance problems hard to find something better for everyday use maybe for pvp it can get useful still don't see how with the stamina we get.
@@mschosting that's fair. One thing to point out is since I've only played on friends servers and not official pvp or pve servers info from me may not actually work for others. Plus everyone plays differently. Personally I'm a bow user so that also changes how I play
there is a spell that hides the corruption. even with full corruption, if you have that illusion active you look perfectly normal. as far as I could tell, that just lasts for ever on the avatar.
It takes the look off your character but does it take the purple away from you health bar? @Edramon no the spell last until you turn it off. I think even through death.
@@Zankaroo spell lasts til you take it off.or someone casts detect corruption. The spells only work for the appearance. Your health bars will still show corruption.

Love the build, very simple. But I myself prefer 2 handed axes. This a nice build :)
I would try and add more Stamina, because running out of stamina gets you killed.
Or use Derkato potion that gives 21 stamina and fast stamina regen.

You can also craft legendary weapon repair kits at the tinkerers bench if you have a level 4 tempersmith.

you can take the points out of AGI and put them in Grit and just use a hammer

Should have used the new damage in healthbar damage, it will be correct, the damage indicators are not always though, at least until I rework them.

Try this build with the black ice large sword combined with the black ice throwing axe (without throwing them) and the arena champion will not have any chances. She will be koed every time using the heavy combo.

It might be me but I took in a boss dragon with thralls at level 10 I can take two thralls out and heal both with healing arrows
O I'm also in build mode max carry weight . So I didn't do much to the dragon.

The thralls aren't really nerfed. Yes they did lower things but it's to encourage people to use sorc potion on them to let you reroll their perks. They wanted thralls stats to be affected by the person that breaks them. Your authority stat makes them stronger as well as having gear that actually boosts follower stats
@@johnhimes8660 actually they did when my snow hunter was at 9.000 my bearer was at 14.000 and my dancers was at 8.000 hp.
And strength now the dancer is at 60
Snow hunter is now at 38 it was 64 .
But I could change perks and get well trained those numbers increase but you only take one thrall .
The champion now can tear apart 3 mastered thralls that are from 3 separate players so there was a nurf .
Now they need to nurf the champion.
I can still beat her one on one but I won't lie it's very risky .
Wish they would open door to champion and never lose the key so one can get back in without having to go back to base .
Cause since the update I admit I made a few trips .
Any tips on that ?

Pve wise, im curently testing and liking 20 Strengh corupted, 20 vita-9 corupted, 20 authority -10 corupted with final [perk to boost folower. well trained. really good for soloing content and leveling thralls easy, cause they get boosted 20 stats each. nice content, but clearly uve never had a love for the huntard build, wow style. sadly conan archery is subpar to melee combat.
Can you make a guide around how armor and armor stats function. for reference I am trying to do an archer build but have little understanding on what armors to choose, and all the guides a pre 3.0

It does indeed boost follower damage and Im going to have an armor video up in the next day or 2 for the best armors for each stat follower included.

At the moment I am running 10 str, 20 vit, 10 grit, 20 survival. Can't seem to live with out pack mule and glutton for punishment. Just way to useful. Think about just putting str and grit into authority and just have a double berserker army with my skills gear to do the work for me while I loot. But haven't switched yet because with the lag and the bad AI in game thralls are so sketchy. Course one time I did die in new azogaroth. Came back was sure that thralls was dead but it was standing there full health with a town load of dead bodies around it so I dunno.
Could you see if you can find a good necromancer build that uses the Skelos Master armour? The set increases follower damage by over 40% (and Agility weapon damage too)

Hi Mr Firespark you did a video on making a nock out Katana which I used on my single player. But with the new update I can seem to do it anymore. Do you know what they changed . Also the food-water trick you did . One grilled steak fills your food an water .thanks for all you do an show in your videos great job.
The food/water is Purified Flesh from the Yog altar. You can get it early game and is very useful all the way to end game.

the corruption we get in my opinion renders the armor and the weapons completely useless, the bow is ok with unlimited arrows but they don't do all that damage
Yea it puts you at max corruption now. Not worth using in most situations
What about doing a dagger build.
Perfected heavy armor: +5% dmg with agility and strenght weapons per piece with tier 4 armorer.
great damage but you tested it without both berserker perks active so the max was actually higher then the 633 that you showed.
You can make this build alot stronger, no need to farm the executioner or brute helmet and godbreaker grips.
The redeemed legion helmet and silent legion heavy gauntlets give between 2-3% more strength per piece and can be learned from the same place.
I don't have any corrupted perks and I'm already hitting for 750 damage with teliths sorrow(which I prefer over the blade of the adventurer because it has 10% more armor penetration and doesn't cost a legendary repair kit)
I would think you'd just demon armor for max damage cause its what 10% damage per piece? Sure its time gated but if you're farming killing stuff it won't matter.
With a named tinker Thrall you can craft Legendary Weapon Repair Kits!
You need a purged thrall armorer in order to craft redeemed silent legion vs just killing a boss that's super easy to kill so.. and on top of it do you really need to do more than 600 damage too anything or anyone especially if you're fighting players?

He's using disguised armor.
It's apart of the Illusion feature (AKA: Transmog) where you place down the Sorcery table (From Shaleback Hollow, Map location: Dead Center of E5) that's if you unlocked the Sorcery for your character. All you have to do is have 2 of the same item type (2H Sword with 2H, 1H With 1H, and so on) then place the item you want to keep the stats of into the Source tab then place the item you like the look of in the appearance tab then combine. Confusing? well for example if you want a Katana to look like a Sovereign Katana Sword just place your high stat Katana into the source tab then place your Sovereign into the Appearence tab then press "Combine" and it will make your normal katana look like a Sovereign Katana sword, Note: this destroys the item in the appearance tab and the Illusion cannot be undone!.
Why use a two-handed sword instead of a warhammer? Hammers tend to have better armor penetration, equivalent damage, and also knock enemies down on the last attack of the combo, which can definitely make fights against camps or groups so much easier since you have much less of a risk of enemies hitting you while you're recovering from your combo.
Because of the heavy move that makes big damage, so you can have a charisma increase.
I just don't like them. I find them to be way to slow. But if they are your jam then heck yea go for it! Looks like Abyssal Maul is your best bet with 72 damage.
If you like two handed then I'd recommend 7 winds katana drop from red mother. Negates all armour making it always do true damage. It's a faster attack pattern as well so makes it easier to slash through enemies
Don't know. Seems a little fragile for my liking. Stamina drain off the better swords is really troublesome too. It's a fun build. But it lacks for versatility I wouldn't want to try the wine cellar in this build for solo play. Now if you got some buddies that can distract the enemies while you come up from behind for the massive damage. That'd be some potential.

why not legion helmet with 8% str weapon dmg?
I wanted to ask the same. These guides always seem to be more about RP than actual efficiency. On the other hand it's 8 months old maybe back then balance was different.
At least acording to the wiki, Silent Legion Helmet only gives 5, the whole set gives 8, but you can see the problem there

Edit: I did some not very precise testing using a Damage Meter mod, EEWA meruvian thrall with mixed armor set, obsidian mace and Warmaker's dungeon's skeletons as targets. It looks like he does more damage with Redeemed Legion helmet.
One problem with redeemed silent legion helmet that you dingdongs didn't consider you need a purge thrall in order to craft the redeemed armor no other thralls will let you craft them so perhaps that's why and an extra 2% ain't really missing too much damage from it sorry but doing 600 damage do you really need more than that fighting a player?
@@6Vlad6Tepes6 no you dont you can farm that trall 100% without purge and you only need the thrall if you want the extra resistance you get the 8% even without the trall
I'd like to see this build against the Judge, that guy is tough/a pain lol.
Judge is easy to beat if your an archer. I just park at an angle above him. Use reach of the red mother and flint arrows since they are cheap to make. And just fire away til dead.

@@jaybethatdude I use this method for a lot of 3 skull bosses. It doesn't help with vaults but any in the world map it does work. Just gotta make sure where you park at has good line of sight to where it moves back to so you can keep the damage coming. After a few seconds of not being able to hit you the bosses go back to their spawn area and begin to heal unless attacked again.
I'm an archer based player on Conan so it's important for me to find ways to solo bosses that would normally be impossible for ranged characters not in heavy gear to handle. Because of the old archer set up I was able to get gear specifically to boost my archer based skills. Now with the update gear kinda took a little bit of a back seat you can still find agility based armour that increases it but it's not fully needed with the right weapons and strategy. No matter the map the red mother is the first boss I start farming soon as I am about lvl 20-25. Problem is that low of lvl you need a decent bow and arrows. Once you get reach of red mother to drop... Type of arrow stops mattering unless your doing pvp. Just simple flint arrows are enough to take on most mobs with rolling evasion techniques.

You can't get buff fish right now. Literally can not build improve fish trap. Says regular fish trap is an ingredient except when you pick one up it turns back to resources in your bag. Some programmer didn't think ahead on this one.

the executioners hood gives 240 base armor with 6percent damage to strength weapons and a cold resist of 3bars
oh and 2400 durability i mean its a trade off with the temp resist but little more armor anyway
Its also not that hard to farm for. At least is use to not be. And you dont have to craft it. tbh you could just use all crafted stuff and the bonus armor thrall if you really wanted to go all out on armor.
@@Firespark81 i am playng pve on 1001 official executioner with bulked has 217 armor value and +6% str weapon damage but as he said reddemed legion helmet has 291 armor with bulked and 8% damage str weapon... i am confused... also why the numbers are different for me... on armor value than the video? maybe from the illusion?

Hello, I try exactly this setup with your same armor + I try abyssal armor too and I get only 225 damage with Abyssal maul and +-300 damage with Predatory blade. How you can make over 600????? I dont understand, I use food too
are you fighting high armor bosses? If so that's normal. Players and random thralls have a lot less armor so you will hit way harder. If you are doing 225-300 dmg on low armor targets then idk that's weird.

I also can't see how exactly he got to 600. But he uses both potions and food for str. weapon dmg, which stack with each other.

@Murilo Gurski I thiiink it's one of the Kinslayer weapons, which you learn in the Arena Champs room (You do not have to fight her to learn how to make these weapons and the Godbreaker and Champion armours, you need to know how to make Star Metal though. Also, you *do* however have to fight her to get the resources needed to make the armours.)

I just got the game beginning of this month so I'm very new at it but I have two pretty beastly thralls that I run and I didn't know about the arena girl until I watched a couple videos afterwards but she almost killed my thralls and they are pretty tough. Lol I managed to escape that time thralls on my heels at about 30% health each. She's a monster.

I had my zombies with me and the lowest of their HP is 11,000 and they barely survived, bring them with you but park them in the back of her chamber and then just cheese her to death with arrows or a star metal short sword
The corruption in strenght isnt worth it. The additional damage you do is pretty low compared to the stamina and HP you lose. if playing like this it is way better to go for an agility build.

Agility weapons generally don't hit this hard, as their theme is faster, lower stam costing attacks.

@@thesovietsage6688 not really no, I'd suggest using master weapon fittings over fencing attachments though, they add more damage and armor pen :)
Also, try bows. Bows are really strong this update, and daggers are still really strong same as before. Short swords are ok too, but overall for agility bows and daggers are the strongest. If you want a good bow, try to get a reach of the red mother from the unnamed city, and for daggers there's either venom infused for the poison, or daggers of dagon for better damage output. If you have trouble getting reach of the red mother, as it is a pretty rare drop, other bows you can get are the hollowbone bow, it's a pretty common drop from one of the jhil bosses in the caves up north, another good bow is the dragonbone bow if you have a tier 4 bladesmith thrall. But generally I'd say to keep aiming for reach of the red mother, no other bow comes close to being as strong as it, it does 35 damage and has 42% armor pen when upgraded with the master weapon fittings, it's an absolute beast of a bow. Then for arrows, star metal arrows are fine until you get obsidian arrows. Obsidian arrows are the best arrows.

it's ok damage but personally I don't see any advantage in corrupting the attributes; getting low HP and low stamina for a few more points of damage per hit, all these builds work much better without corruption. well there is one point we can use advanced magic, but then again pouches are heavy and with corruption we can't really afford the extra weight
Yup build will work just fine without corrupting. So dont if you dont wanna. You will still do great damage.
Still love to watch your experiences :) did you notice thralls behaving much more erratic with the update? Most times they will simply not enter battle, it's really sad to me because I do like my companions.
Depends on the stats you corrupt truthfully. Vit stat in my opinion had the best advantages to corrupting. At full corrupt attacks have a decent chance to miss. You become immune to bleed, stagger, cripple, poison. And when attacks do hit you you cause corruption and if the target can't be corrupted you cause aoe damage burst. Not to mention hp Regen which seems slow at first but when maxxed corruption the misses help make the Regen better
@@johnhimes8660 did not test a lot because iam only playing online in PvE c servers not offline, did a few tests but don't think it's worth it, Iam running full expertise and agility, can kill anything really easy and no encumbrance problems hard to find something better for everyday use maybe for pvp it can get useful still don't see how with the stamina we get.
@@mschosting that's fair. One thing to point out is since I've only played on friends servers and not official pvp or pve servers info from me may not actually work for others. Plus everyone plays differently. Personally I'm a bow user so that also changes how I play

Running around with a bunch of corruption probably takes away some of the noob-surprise PvP aspect.
there is a spell that hides the corruption. even with full corruption, if you have that illusion active you look perfectly normal. as far as I could tell, that just lasts for ever on the avatar.

It takes the look off your character but does it take the purple away from you health bar? @Edramon no the spell last until you turn it off. I think even through death.
@@Zankaroo spell lasts til you take it off.or someone casts detect corruption. The spells only work for the appearance. Your health bars will still show corruption.
