The Boost tier is more than enough for my needs as well. Everything runs great and looks beautiful. I replaced my desktop with a $100 NUC after getting Shadow.
Lucky for you. I also try it every few months, But I always had way too high of a lag, to be able to play smoothly. R6, Satisfactory and such are sadly unplayable and give me motion sickness because of it. On GeForceNOW, I never had such problems. But ofc you can't play everything there.
I have boost and play GTA 5 ... it runs smooth, clear and at 2k plus resolution on my zfold 3. It's pretty incredible actually. Even my son is impressed and he uses his PS5.
I am currently running GTA v with LSPDFR and loads of scripts and mods and it runs smoothly on Shadow Power with 60 fps. Without mods i reach around 180 fps at most. I am satisfied. For someone that can't afford a game pc straight up. This is perfect
From a active shadow user the only con that drives me insane is the auto shutdown feature, sometimes it shuts down after 10 mins and some days it has auto shutdown after 3 hours

I’m curious if this service can handle DaVinci Resolve, as I’ve got a lot of 4K footage I need to "speed warp" and upscale "2x enhance". On my MacBook M1 Pro, it currently takes around 10 hours to process just one minute of footage. I’ve tried Vagon before-DaVinci Resolve runs fine on it, but Topaz Video doesn’t. One thing that frustrated me with Vagon is all the hidden costs. You pay for the subscription, but then you also pay separately for cloud storage in increments (5GB, 50GB, etc.), and even for every GB of upload or download. The GPUs on Vagon are good; rendering the same footage dropped to 12 minutes per clip. But the default machine only comes with 70GB of storage, and they won’t even let you run the machine unless you have enough credit to cover at least two hours of usage. I’m wondering if this service offers a true monthly subscription where you can use it as much as you want, or if it’s still charged by the minute or hour. And is DaVinci Resolve fully compatible with these virtual GPUs? If the subscription isn’t charged hourly, it could be a nice
Is this viable for games like monster hunter world and rise? For 1080p 60fps cause I dont have a powerful laptop but want a viable solution for monster hunter wilds at 1080p at 30fps (I played mh rise switch for a long time I'm used to 30fps)

Everyone can make mistakes, and if Shadow PC had simply confirmed they messed up, it wouldn’t have been a big deal. But that’s not what happened. My girlfriend paid for the Shadow Boost plan, but she was given the Shadow Discovery system instead, which is a lower-tier service. The system initially had 8 GB of RAM instead of 12, a Core i5 processor instead of the promised Intel Xeon, and less storage than advertised. has anyone used this for VR and/or Shadow VR?
Not yet
It’s not worth it at all to buy shadow vr, I payed $23, I can’t even run Minecraft on low graphics without it being on 24 fps, this honestly sucks, trust me, don’t waste your money like I did..
i just switched to geforce now from shadow and the difference is night and day can finally play without ethernet no lag and looks 10x better plus i can play the finals
But shadow can almost play any pc game that’s the reason why i’m getting it soon
is there more latency delay then GeForce?
@IShowclips0000 no geforce now has less latency for me and runs alot smoother looks like I'm running them native forget I'm using cloud
@koa7407 yea they always have server maintenance every week tho lol there servers are bad compared to geforce now many times I've looked forward to going on to play with friends and shadow servers are down
@@KyleTV1234 where do you live btw? I heard they have only 1 server in Europe which is France so I wanna know where u frm bc I wonder if I will like that
Poor decoding streams and pretty old cards. Really poor value for gaming. However, as a service for accessing Windows it's okay. I feel that's their market now. For gaming, they're far behind GFN, in my opinion.
I can’t play gta or gtaiv anymore it always bugs then I can’t play it even with Roblox
Yh but more games are compatible with shadow pc
Would it be nice for general AI work, like upscaling with Topaz?
I tried Azure (but only the free tier) and I'm on Paperspace currently, with a Quadro P4000 rig and that runs nicely.
(Upscales in seconds compared to my i5-8400 desktop with Intel iGPU.)
@Stxckz1p weird... I have the boost teir and I run gta 5 seemless and completely smooth. I live about 35 miles from the data center tho. My internet is lighting fast as well, consistently 400mbs up and 20is down, ping under 30. I'll be upgrading to power when gta 6 goes to PC
@@jacebakerjacegta v Is over 10 years old with the poor gpu they have it won’t run gta 6 well it struggles with RDR2
can it run steamvr
?
Yeah both can, I could play every game I own on either tier but I upgraded anyway and love it. Can run almost everything on ultra
Tysm
if you can afford super fast internet you can afford good pc
Not necessarily. All you need is about 100 mbps for this to run well. Plus, many aren’t looking for maintaining their hardware.
Ok this is good but plz don't glitch it out to get it for free iff you do it you will now why
what?
can u review the new tier i saw it on my home page before i was going to buy power i forgot whats its called but it said it had a rtx 4000 series gpu
Not sure what you are talking about
Can i play fivem?
It's been reported that it has problems
@@CloudGamingBattle so I understand that I can't play?
I haven’t tried personally. Check the Shadow forums for details for those who have.
@@CloudGamingBattle ok, thanks
You can
Does this work when when I am in Africa ?
You can try. No promises
Shadow its way too expensive
It’s the lowest monthly cloud pc on the market. ua-cam.com/video/1QvXbWWvrhM/v-deo.htmlsi=Dz-8XFV9l5O1hStl
I can use shadow in Saudi Arabia
You can try
They almost go bankrupt, get hacked, and still think it was smart to diss Stadia on Twitter. Like they could end up the same as stadia soon lol
Yea I saw that. I decided to leave it alone since there were plenty of Ls already
Oh
Roblox?
Not anymore
GOD BLESS, JESUS LOVES YOU.
Horrible service.
