We moved here in 2021 and absolutely love it! We have the best neighbors and even though we are in NE which is a little rural (which we love the quiet) we are only 5 mins to a Publix and Walgreens ….we are also close to the free bridge that brings us to Fort Myers …downtown Fort Myers is like 12 mins away and has a great atmosphere, great restaurants, shops and entertainment…we are in between Fort Myers and Punta Gorda which takes us about 15 mins to get to Fisherman’s village …great restaurants on the ocean, great shopping and at Christmas time they put on an amazing light show! Toast the high will be 86 and low 67…low humidity..perfect to catch sun rays (inside the lanai you are protected from bad UV rays ) and can swim all day and night ….and no bugs ! My husband works out, rides his bike , does his projects and then takes a nap floating in the pool…I’m sick and can’t swim but I love relaxing in the lanai….the tropical breezes are amazing…and my Yorkie and Shihtzus love it here ….we get lots of visitors from NY ..our closest family and friends and we loveeeee it…it was a big move after living in NY for so many years..but we found the sun and love our Governor and the freedom here !
