This would be my perfect GTI set up. Two door, manual with usable power. Well done sir!
One of my edition 30s are setup this way. 440bhp 420ftlbs, 1250kg, clubsport s spec with seats, rear strut etc. Alloy subframes, lsd, manual. Much more engaging than the mk7 gti also and I've driven a clubsport s
All CS S’s are 3 door manual. You can't have it any other way . No 5 door , No DSG.

Mad ain’t it. People spend £1000’s and won’t put decent rubber on their car.
Pretorias are some of the best wheels by any manufacturer but these are pretty nice. Really enjoyed this one, I’ve always wanted a Clubsport S.

I heard Pretorias were prone to cracking and kind of weak? In Australia at least.

Nice car, personally didn't see the point of getting a fast spooling turbo then to have it mapped progressively. I can understand the benefit in higher gears. Again the clubsport s has the Lightened alloy wishbones and subframe, no need to touch anything handling wise on a car that was setup perfectly for the ring. I think he's upset the balance of the car. A stage 2 remap would of been enough with similar figures whilst maintaining the oem handling which had millions worth of R&D poured into it.
I think he did it as more of a talking point, as they don't actually look that good, but you can tell all your mates that they are are real McLaren alloys.
Lovely to see another fellow Clubsport owner. Having the standard version just Stage 1 at 360 hp 462 torque at moment. Waiting for the invidia downpipe with highflow sportcat at moment. Plan is going Stage 2+ with ECU & TCU DSG optimizations by TVS Engineering (best in dsg business) by spring! Videos on channel! 👍

@@arjunbudwal1272 Have you by any chance tried their Stage 2 ECU tune? Im thinking going either Revo Stage 2 or TVS stage 2+ for engine as well. But definetly TVS for the dsg optimization.
I used to like the "Team Dynamics: Pro-Race 1.2's"...They went well on the Mk5's & Mk6's....
Nice to see one of these being driven, especially one that's been tuned I think I've only ever seen 2 of them on road. 🙌🏽

I personally don’t think the wheels suit the car but that’s my opinion
BCS exhaust is amazing. I have had one now fitted to my clubsport and it’s transformed the car. Check them out if looking for a good set up.

Superb car the Clubsport S - I miss mine (28,000 miles….). That brake kit looks superb. Fair play for modifying it to his taste’🏁.

Why would you spend so much on a GTI when you could spend the same on a R and have a far better car and no torque steer nor front wheel spin and better use of the power.
It's for fun, not speed. Flick it into a corner and smoke those fronts on the way out

You folks don't have the "crank walk" issues on modified manual transmission cars in the UK? Here in the USA is an issue. The DSG cars don't seem to have the problem.
