Hmm, I tried crocheting this with a 2mm hook recommended for my polyester yarn but the first 7 rows weren't coming out flat at all ( since row 5). I think it's the yarn's fault, I will try again with different yarn because this pattern is beautiful
Any pattern will crumble little bit while making, it all depends on the yarns and hooks sizes, and mostly on the yarn tension. I always block my Doilies , pattern looks more prominent after that . Thank you 😊
I love that you make me want to do small work it wasn’t really a favorite of mine but my grandmother crocheted with thread sewing thread and she would make doilies hundreds my mother is alive and she still has all her own doilies my sister Lisa made beautiful doilies !! I’m in the mood …. That pink is perfect

Is there an actual pattern? I’m on row 12 and for the life of me I cannot figure it out. The pattern link you posted is just sending us back to the video

This is my first time crocheting this pattern do I wet this doily first and then stick it on my blocking board
Yeah you can do that,
But I prefer the other way as it's a doily, it takes long time to set on the blocking board.
