Sou brasileira e acabei de fazer a minha e com sua excelente explicação, nem a barreira da língua atrapalhou, gratidão de todo meu ❤ um beijo do Brasil 😘🇧🇷
Ok so I have been working on this doily for a couple of days now and was finishing up the last round. I was 100% sure of myself that the repeat for the last round was with a ch 5 at the tops as usual so that's what I did. Fast forward to me resuming the video to finish off... and there I saw it; the continuation of the round after the 7dc. I had completely missed the picot on the tops. Well lemme just... unravel the whole round :) Besides my own negligence, this tutorial was very helpful and easy to follow! Most other doily tutorials I've tried to follow have been to hard to see due to the thin thread, but this one is very well done, so thank you^^
Thankyou very much for helping to complete this beautiful doily, you made it easy to complete each Round easily. On my first visit to daughters house made this doily in free time and gifted her as an memory .
So nice to finally see someone who crochets tightly like I do. I hold the thread and hook the same way so maybe that’s it. It means I won’t have to change to a different size crochet hook - yeah!!! I can never figure out if I should use a bigger or smaller hook. It looks beautiful- hopefully my one will turn out half as good.
Oh I can't wait to finish my current project and do this! It's so delicate looking. I just love your tutorials! I am fairly new at crocheting and am left handed so, I have to convert the visual in my head! You have the closed captions turned on, you have the written stitch, you're not too fast or too slow; I can tell what's happening easily! THANK YOU!💜
Way to go, Mama Pink! You are very resourceful to make the mainstream right handed tutorials work for you, so kudos to you for keeping up the good crochet work! Happy crocheting!
@@handmadebyraine LOL, thank you! Story of a left hander's life! I can't use left handed scissors because I've only ever used right handed ones and just make it work!
It's a beautiful doily but then again, all of your doilies are extra beautiful. My hope is to make a few of them, this one probably will be the first. Btw, the mason jar cover came out very pretty. I gave it to my daughter for her birthday last week. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Thank you so much, I appreciate your continued support! I already have a new doily idea! I'm very happy to hear about your sweet birthday gift for you daughter! Happy crocheting!
i love to do your doily patterns because those are old patterns. My mom says her grand ma and her great grand ma must have done these patterns. My mom is 95 years old.
Thank you! I don't have the exact amount but 1 ball of Aunt Lydia's crochet thread is enough and it is 350 yd/320m per solid color ball. I hope this helps!
How do you get it to stay so flat? My doilies always kinda acrunch up when Iake them. Blocking helps but is it the thread size? The hook size? The tension? I feel like I can't find a sweet spot between too loose and too tight :( Gorgeous doily, thank you for the tutorial!
Hi Agnes, it depends on what size of yarn you plan to use. It's quite a big doily. I used hook size 1,75 mm and crochet thread size 10. Happy crocheting!
Yes, block your doily! I usually make the doily wet, stretch it out on blocking mats and attach it with pins. I also spray some starch to give it extra firm shape. Let it dry completely before removing the pins.
Thank goodness for the video …. The written pattern made no sense so after frogging row 4 three times, I watched the video. Written pattern could use some work such as where DCs go.
Thank you so much for letting me know, I checked and indeed it wasn't correct at all, but I updated it and it should make better sense now. Thanks again! Happy crocheting!
You're a excellent teacher, thank you so much.
Thank you, so glad to hear, and you are most welcome!
Really loved making this❤❤❤Thank you so much❤

It’s very beautiful and I can’t wait to make it! But I have a question, how much yarn do you need for this wonderful doily?
I feel like I can't find a sweet spot between too loose and too tight :(
Gorgeous doily, thank you for the tutorial!
Thank you! I mostly use thread size 10 and crochet hook 1.75 mm, and after blocking they look great.

Hi Agnes, it depends on what size of yarn you plan to use. It's quite a big doily. I used hook size 1,75 mm and crochet thread size 10. Happy crocheting!
