Do you have an update on the Monsoon test? Also an update on the revised Red Stripe test? I have a group that I believe will apply that came back negative on panel tests a while back.
I think there's something wrong the FASST test for puzzle. I have an animal that I know was produced by a visual puzzle male that's coming back negative when tested. I emailed Shawn with all the details and am collecting fresh sheds to take to him. I doubt the clutch testing results of 0 for 4 from the 50% het puzzles now too.
That is good that you are collecting sheds again to rerun, that is for sure the best next step! Sometimes mistakes happen somehow on our end or the customers end with shed mix ups. But the puzzle test itself we have run MANY times now and not problems like this with others. But with the new sheds we can run as both sequencing run and Fassst test and make sure for you that we know the answer for sure!

I know how thorough you all about testing until you get 99% or better... it's just super weird, I completely 100% trust the breeder and he's sent me photos that clearly show the father, mother, and clutch and puzzle is there. It could be the person I've since sold the snake too mixed up the sheds before he sent them to me.

This may be an odd comment but is there a test for a Normal? Is it possible to test a snake that may be considered a normal/wild type and rule that out?
The best I can think of would be to run our full panel, which tests for 30 common ball python morphs. That wouldn’t rule out all ball python morphs, but it would let you know on 30 of the most common! And we are adding more tests all the time, so here soon that test should be 40 or 50! But I doubt we will ever be able to get them all since there are so many!
