DC usually does one thing right that MOST Marvel movies get wrong.... The cinematography. The Batman is among the finest examples of that.
The portrayal of Batman in this movie is actually how Batman was supposed to be - the World's Greatest Detective.
It's not hate, its just a comment. Marvel movies dosnt have a great cinematography
I love how every shot feels intentional. Like a lot of movies place the camera in various locations for context, but this movie it felt like every scene was meticulously crafted. The lighting and anamorphic blur omg it's sooo beautiful.
There will never be another experience like watching this masterpiece in the cinema again. This film was dark but it was colourful. That scene with Batman carrying the torch by the water was one of the most beautiful visuals I’d ever seen
It's seriously bonkers to think Greg Fraiser shot this and DUNE back-to-back, and both films are beyond gorgeous.
One of the best Batman movie ever! The cinematography, the aesthetics, that noir detective vibe, the soundtrack and the cast, all of them infused in such an alluring movie! Such a masterpiece.❤️
None perfected depicting Gotham, until this guy. Every frame is stunning. The Batman is THE Batman. Thanks to Matt Reeves. Was fortunate to experience this spectacle in theatre.
The scene with the Batmobile was incredible
Thursday, October 31st. The city streets are crowded for the holiday. Even with the rain. Hidden in the chaos is the element, waiting to strike like snakes. And I'm there too. Watching. 2 years of nights have turned me into a nocturnal animal. I must choose my targets carefully. It's a big city. I can't be everywhere. But they don't know where I am. We have a signal now, for when I'm needed. When that light hits the sky, it's not just a call- it's a warning. To them. Fear is a tool. They think I'm hiding in the shadows. But I AM the shadows.
I can't stress how amazing this movie looked and sounded in theater. Especially with the scenes involving the Batmobile which made the entire place vibrate. It's a movie you definitely have to see on the big screen. Matt Reeves did a phenomenal job with this film and the cast. I hope we get more Batman from him and his team. Once again, you did another stellar job on this tribute Marc.
Greig Fraiser just won an Oscar for shooting Dune. He deserves another for this visual masterpiece!

IMO, the final shot of Batman riding away into the sunset with a changed outlook and newfound optimism is the most gorgeous shot of the movie.
This video gave me goosebumps , and reminded me of one of the greatest cinematic experiences I've had since interstellar ✨
If there’s one comic book movie that deserves Oscar nominations next year, it’s The Batman. Now THIS is how you build a DC cinematic universe. Bravo, Matt Reeves and co.!
