I just watched a little bit of the Paint the Town Red music video and within the first two minutes of the video, I had to turn it off. The song was okay but the main reason why I turned the video off was because it was too weird. For one thing, the beginning of the video showed Doja removing her eyeball and placing it on the table and then I saw the grim reaper and other elements of death scattered throughout the video and as a Christian, it turned me off. It’s one thing to repeat the word “devil” in the song, but to have the visuals of your song depict the pits of hell is demonic and downright disturbing. The music video’s overall concept is dark and it symbolizes how much of a dark place that Doja’s in right now.

I’m in the industry myself and that’s what I do. I’m a nobody still so it’s pretty easy for me to just work regular gigs in between working opportunities. Many just have too much pride & feel like it’s lower then them. 😩

Yea, I couldn't listen to Dojas song due to the words. When I heard it on the radio and realized that they bleeped out the word DEVIL, I knew others caught this too! Lol
I just watched a little bit of the Paint the Town Red music video and within the first two minutes of the video, I had to turn it off. The song was okay but the main reason why I turned the video off was because it was too weird. For one thing, the beginning of the video showed Doja removing her eyeball and placing it on the table and then I saw the grim reaper and other elements of death scattered throughout the video and as a Christian, it turned me off. It’s one thing to repeat the word “devil” in the song, but to have the visuals of your song depict the pits of hell is demonic and downright disturbing. The music video’s overall concept is dark and it symbolizes how much of a dark place that Doja’s in right now.

I’m in the industry myself and that’s what I do. I’m a nobody still so it’s pretty easy for me to just work regular gigs in between working opportunities. Many just have too much pride & feel like it’s lower then them. 😩
Not excusing Lizzo at all but at the end of the day, the dancers are performers and that’s their jobs. If anyone gains a lot of weight in a short span that impacts their performance.
As a dancer, you gotta be in shape. It’s the same thing with modeling, gotta maintain your figure when doing photoshoots, walking on the runway, and gracing the covers of magazines.

Honestly, as someone who's been following these artists since college (so ~2012 or so) it's so diasppointing to see how crap of a personality some of these people have and also give into Hollyweird. That's why it's so important to think for oneself and not be so easily influenced. I remember Melissa Ford talking about celebrities selling their souls basically. I agree that the entertainment industry in general from the shows we watch, to the music we listen to is EXTREMELY dark.
