Im really thinking about getting on these motors for my 88 4Runner. I just did the clutch/flywheel combo from LCE. Doing cold air intake and exhaust currently...Really thinking about saving for one of those street strokers. $6k though. 😔😔

About how much did that engine and install set you back?? I would love to do the same.

Im interested to know the long term life and performance of this motor.
My Lc efi pro stroker motor started consuming massive amounts of oil after about 40k miles on new engine. Would use 2 to 2.5 qts of oil within 3500 miles.

holy shit...have you popped it open to see the issue? That's my only hesitation...My original motor on my 86 pickup has about 300k on it and it still runs strong.

@@99FXR bad quality piston rings are the issue from what I can tell. Going with a #22reperformance engine from Jim Putney once I get the extra funds since LC didn't offer any help.

@@99FXR definitely go with 22reperformance it's well worth it. My dad went with one of his motors and runs strong, smooth and quiet and doesn't burn oil.

Ok you have broken the motor in now let's see it cruze at 80 and hit 115MPH then we will know if it was worth the motor upgrade.
