This song is timeless, it never ages. There’s always something that speaks to each generation. Freddie never said what the words meant to him. He wanted people to find their own message, their own meaning, and they have. It’s a masterpiece. Very few people can hear this and remain unmoved. With all of the emotion Freddie poured into it, I can still find tears in my eyes.
The first time i watched this i was really impressed as a 6yo kid, my parents had a VHS cassette Tape with a concert of Queen and also had this exact same scene, since then i wanted to get a CD of Queen, then when i turned 7yo my Parents knew i liked it and offered me a Queen double CD Greatest Hits Album, also with Bohemian Rhapsody, how i miss the good old days😌
Yes, he was very young! He was only 29, when this song was recorded! Very impressive and astoundishingly talented people. No one can ever replace Freddie's talent.
You young folks, I love seeing your reactions when you realize the greatness you have been missing. Your reaction was absolutely priceless! This song has rocked my world since high school and continues to this day!!
This song is from 1975. They recorded this in only 4 hours. It was originally called the Cowboy Song. Freddy started with ideas for this song in 1968. He passed in 1992 of Aids! Your reaction is priceless! Freddie and Queen will live forever!
Actually, Queen is a British rock band created in 1971, consisting of: Freddie Mercury - Lead singer and piano Brian May - Lead guitarist and singer Roger Taylor - Drummer and singer John Deacon - Bass guitarist They were 4 extremely talented musicians who not only performed but wrote all their own music. Each member of Queen has had hit singles. Freddie Mercury wrote and orchestrated Bohemain Rhapsody which is actually 3 separate songs that he had been working on but could not seem to finish. He got the idea to put them all together, adding transistions and bridges and it became a classic. Ir was recorded in 1975 for Queen's album, A Night At The Opera.
@@corylemaire3593 Well, David Bowie helped write it, but it apparently came about from them all jamming about on a song called Feel Like that was originally written by Roger, then later morphed into Under Pressure as they all messed about with it... I forget the exact story.
Freddie was actually becoming a graphical designer (fashion, no websites back then of course). Roger was actually a beginning dentist Brian was actually an astrophysicist (and still is) John is actually an electrical engineer But when Queen started to become popular (from 1974), you can imagine them spending their time on something else. Queen broke through in the UK with their album "Queen II" (1974), and broke through in the rest of the world with "Killer Queen" at the "Top of the Pops" at the BBC, somewhat later in that year, Killer Queen is launched as single and on the album "Sheer Heart Attack". It is since their Live Aid concert (biggest rock concert, in 1985) that Queen became widely known for their performances and qualities. Bohemian Rhapsody was first released on the album "A Night at the Opera" (released in 1975 as their fourth album) where nearly every number has become a hit at least once. But Bohemian Rhapsody followed soon after as single for the album (there was some controversy around it to release it as a single, yes or no). It lead to their first golden long-playing record. I really like Queen. Please correct me if I'm wrong by the way.
It’s a rollercoaster of musical genius. That is just one aspect of Queen! This is the same band that did We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. Amaze balls.
What a great reaction, I can see in your eyes that some emotions are welling up, I am a 58 year old man, sitting here with tears rolling down my face. This stroke of genus gets me every time. I must say that in my humble opinion this is in the top two most beautiful pieces of music that mankind has ever produced. The other one is Claude Debussy's "Claire de Lune."
The greatest band ever Queen, in sheer musicianship, performance, showmanship, versatility. Imagine this was done in1975 when there was no computer, harddisk. they had to move the tape back and forth to create the vocal harmonies. And dont forget there's so much of guitar harmonies and orchestration too.
Queen is remarkable. Four incredibly talented musicians, led by a once-in-a-lifetime talent in Freddie Mercury. Incredible singer, incredible performer, and kind of a walking mass of charisma. Heh.
I've listened to great masterpieces like the 5th symphony and moonlight sonata, Bach's grand organ arrangements etc............but none of them touch my soul like this masterpiece does. Thankyou Freddie.
I'm glad you were familiar with the song from other artists because it's easier to deal with the perfection that IS Freddie Mercury (and the rest of the band) if you know a little of what to expect. Queen on their own can never be expected. Only marveled at. 😨😨😨😨😨
😎😎😎 Today they add some pitch correction, autotune,,computer sounds, someone with a little talent and you got a song.. but back then it took hours of songwriting, music writing and playing instruments.. every band tried to stand out... glad to have lived during that time..
Yours is one of my fav reactions to this. I could feel the build up in the second part with you and then the power when the third part starts. If you’re really in the song you feel all that. I’m glad I watched this!
It's almost a religious experience isn't it? Such an amazing piece. They rock live! Try Somebody to Love Live from Montreal 1981. One of the best bands ever.
Queen Bohemian Rhapsody 1975 from there album A Night At The Opera the song was9 weeks at No 1 in the 70s and again in the 90s no 1 for 5 weeks, 1 1/2 billion people have viewed this performance absolutely amazing, Queen we’re at the forefront of musical videos in them days! Thanks 🙏 great reaction!
You are absolutely beautiful and I was a teenager in the 70s and 80s I am so thrilled that this younger generation is getting ahold of our wonderful music it really was the best and the performers and their talent I had the opportunity to see over 400 live concerts during this time I'm sad that this generation missed the very best
Queen!!!!!!!! Gods of Rock!!! Nothing else to say ! Bohemian Rhapsody is known as the best rock song ever created!!! Merging rock and opera in one composition! Only Freddie Mercury could do this!

Great reaction. My favorite part was the little golf clap at the beginning of the rock part.🤣 I know I'm 2 years too late, but I just discovered your channel.🤘
Yes, 45 years ago, in my high school years first time I heard it I pulled the car over & got my pals to be quiet. They soon caught on & at the end 30 seconds silence, then the talk went to what caught our ears first-Freddie’s vocals or Brian May’s guitar. Lost him too soon.
Amazing fact about Queens' lead guitarist Brian May. He was actually working on getting his Ph.D in astrophysics when Queen was formed. Music meant so much to him so he put his doctorate on the back burner. After Freddie Mercury died, Queen disbanded. Even while still part of the group Brian and his father designed and built a new kind of guitar. Brian's IQ has been measured in the 160's. That's even beyond Big Bang Theory smart. So he was a real genius on top of being a musical genius. after Queen disbanded, Brian went back to working toward his doctorate. He finally got it in 2006 or 7. He's now Dr. Brian May Ph.D. He's also written about 6 books on the subject of astrophysics.
I love your reactions, the surprise, the shock, the unbridled joy; you were completely blown away. This song is an absolute masterpiece and what's interesting is that you will experience the same emotions every time you hear it.you hear it.
You can listen this endlessly, and after 28 years after the first listening (like me), watch the reactions to it. Listen also to Mark Martel, he does the best Queen covers
Freddie Mercury was the lead singer of Queen. He was in his 20s for this song , had graduated from college. He was born in1946 the song was about 1974 or so.He was born in Zanzibar to a Parsee ( Zoroastrian) family, a group driven from Persia over a thousand years ago. Although Indian/ British subjects, his cultural & ethnic roots. were Persian. They migrated to England when he was 18, due to a violent revolution which made Zanzibar part of Tanzania. The Indian & Arab residents had 6 months to get out. The other members of Queen were all English born.

True
You're speechless because Queen is an all rounder. Very energetic on stage too.
You can say thy again boo
No band on the face of the earth could ever re-record this song and expect artistic success. It would be like re-making Citizen Kane in color.
Anybody else go to watch a Queen reaction that comes up in recommendations, look up and it's two hours later? Just me?

seems one channel is missing
