This is the first in the 6 month's of planned DLC from Arkham Knight. For the first time ever, you can play as Batgirl as she tries to save her father from the clutches of Joker and his crew. Joker threaten to kill Gordon if Batman shows up, so it's up to Batgirl and Robin to save the day!

Because this is set before asylum. In the opening cutscene you can kind of see it.

@@greedgod5827 this is set before Arkham Asylum. Joker must've shot Barbara after this event and before he was taken into the Asylum.
@@bungbananaman would’ve been interesting if we had a Arkham Game set between Origins & Asylum since Origins was set 8 years before Asylum in which WB Montreal could’ve had the opportunity to create more storylines becuz of the big time gap like the Court of Owls, Dick’s time as Robin then finally his transformation into Nightwing, & more screentime & gameplay with Batgirl

Can't help but have the immersion broken when I see Tim basically being Barbara's main squeeze. He's even wearing his AK costume, when this is suppose to be before AA. Just seems like such a weak and unnecessary change

I really want the next game to have post - joker Harley because she's so much stronger and independent and an all round better character when she's not obsessing over him. Idk she just seems quite weak in these games
She’s nothing without joker, she got one tapped in knight by Robin. Play Harley quinns revenge in Arkham City if you want to see that. She gets one tapped in that by Robin again.
This version of Joker and Harley are strangely less abusive than most iterations. As far as Joker goes is using her as a hostage for his and sometimes her escape. We never see Joker hit her or verbally abuse her. Hell, the animated series portrayed them more abusive. And that's a kids show.
Point is, they seem more happy with each other in these games.

Everyone, at the point of Arkham knight, batman has been on the streets for 8 years. He encountered joker on his second year! Jason Todd and Tim drake there is only a month between them two. So timeline is:
Origins
1st robin, 2/3years?
2nd robin, unknown time span
3rd robin shortly after the second was supposedly killed!
Batgirl becomes oracle, that possibly being after this dlc. The rest of the timeline is fairy simple the rest of the way.

Help now that I downloaded the dlc there is a locked character in the showcase and it's obviously batgirl but I have no idea how to unlock her. I have already gotten all of the achievements in the DLC and completed it so I have no clue how to get it. Help? If there's a hidden collectable I can't find it cause all you get for collecting the balloons, teeth, and boxes is an achievement

The problem with these types of games is the movements are all so absurdly rapid that the fight scenes become virtually unwatchable for anyone with normal eyesight. And if I may ask, how come Batgirl herself can take out so many of these big strong guys without so much as a pause for breath? Is she in fact Supergirl as well in her spare time?
At least it is classic Harley in her good costume.

+Roose Bolton Of The Dreadfort You can free roam this area, but there is not much there. You can't use Batgirl anywhere else. Unless you're really itching to play with Batgirl there is nothing other than this story. The good thing is that it's only like $7 bucks, so worth it in that sense
