I'm always baffled by people that build modern/contemporary homes and then furnish them with old/classic furniture. Completely ruins the finish/look of the home.
Very fair point there, Khwezi! Oftentimes, it’s sentimental or inheritance pieces from the family/parents they like to take with - not cuz there’s a lack of taste🤔
I guess people have different preferences in terms of decor. If it isn't tastelessly spread out throughout the entire space antiques can be quite gorgeous, IMO.
I hear you - I'm trying to find more of them - IF/WHEN you see any by Cimato Moroldo Architects, pls make sure to drop the link here - or DM me on IG @LuxuryHomesJohannesburg
The furniture looks so out of place but yes different strokes for different folks I suppose. That entrance is absolutely exceptional and the use of the lighting is on point and Jenny did justice with the tour 👌🏽
I hear you - we’re seeing that quite often where the home is modern/contemporary and then they’re furnishing it with dates/antiques? Guess a sentiment value for that older generation? I know my parents were like that too🤔
I would like to see a pov of driving in show us the car entrance I need to visualize driving in and a walk around the garages would be to your benefit.....EXQUISITE PROPERTY ❤
Mr X I’m a born negotiator but in respect of this house I was gonna reserve my negotiating skills…the house is perfect & the interior designing is impeccable…the presenter what a voice…and in my mind you look tiny as well Mr X 😂.
Samato moralo architecture indeed they did an amazing job Xavier I agree with you I also couldn't keep my eyes off the ceilings the bulkheads, the lights the ballroom space the house Is just everything but that open bathroom concept it's a turnoff for me just don't like it. But overall the house Is lovely and once again thanks for the tour as always👌🔥🔥....
200% agree with you there, Lucky!! Lovin' it myself. And for that price vs what you get in some of the big lifestyle estates... hmmm something to think about! I'd put a glass separation wall there - or perhaps 1.5m wall with glass partition on top. Or even like we had at the R14m Copperleaf one where they had American shutters built to open/close upon preference...
This house is beautiful, however it's disappointing that you can't get to the 5th bedroom without going through the 4th bedroom and the garden is so small 😢.
I hear you - I’ll need to check again what was said during that talk up there. Kinda important to have said that there’s a separate staircase there for private access to that upstairs, besides entry into the house bus that 4th bedroom 🤔
In vast majority of the time, furniture is not sold with the property. Oftentimes, buyers and sellers make deals on the side for the furniture. Pls double check with the agent Jen @ +27 (81) 713-7395
Thx for stopping by. I hear you - it’s quite interesting to see soooo many owners build these gorgeous homes, yet bringing along their classic furniture, which probably has emotional/sentimental value to them (inherited from parents?)…
I hear you, Sibs. You’d be amazed to see how often we run into similar situations - many owners clearly have sentimental value to the heirloom furniture pieces from older generations to bring it along to their modern / contemporary homes 🤔
@@LuxuryHomesJohannesburg and that has an effect on potential buyers. I am reminded of a property you covered at Copperleaf that comes with furniture (I think the property is worth R19 999 999.00 mil), That house I wouldn't change a thing furniture wise. It is "dressed up" immaculately and accordingly. I must have watched the video 10 times....lol
hey xavier you can use the shots you took of the house to cut out the part when you walk out of the frame in the introduction. it just looks amateur all the time😭😭
It’s a true dilemma for me - if I stop talking after having introduced the tour guide, give them the space to start talking, and then suddenly use some other video on top of it to hide me walking away, doesn’t that look rude? LOL
Thanks for stopping by - any suggestions what can be improved upon? I'm open to criticism & eager to learn and improve every new video! Appreciate you taking the time to respond back.
Do the lights dim..? Is the house a “smart house" Not enough plugs it seems in the kitchen. Guest bedroom windows should be floor to ceiling, when lying in bed you’d see nothing but a blank wall…..Such a pity that these properties get built on land size that’s too small for the concept. However one of the better offerings for the channel.
@redinza Great question - I have no idea. I assumed the levy was going to be high given this prime Mount Street location. Check with the agent Jen @ +27 (81) 713-7395 pls
I hear you - the (older) owners have quite the sentimental value for that furniture. The entire layout / experience would have been soooo different if that were somewhat more modern!
As a child, I really like your home's and they inspire me to become an architect!🙏🏽
Awesome - one day; one day!!

@zaneleradebe2808 True True 🤔
The interior decor is out of place. The house is mordern and the furniture is just spoiling everything 😢
@SS_LOVE_29 I hear you Zwelakhe! Wish these owners had furnished it to the store of their home…instead of bringing their heirloom pieces along 🤔
Wow that lady is calm and soft spoken. I love it
Very much so, Rebone 🥰
im glad someone spotted that, she has such a calm and authentic manner of presentation. loved her
@mosamochochoko5462 True that! She’s very good at what she does. Let me see if I can get her on a tour again 🤞
Masterpiece...I welcome the showing of garages ❤💯
You bet 🤗
Her voice and presentation so soothing! I like her!
Awesome to hear, Hopewell.
Just did one with her at the WHITE HOUSE (check community post here for more info)
The ceiling is one of the best I've seen so far . I love it
Truly fascinating indeed. I couldn’t keep my eyes off it🤩
Another Sunday, Another stunner. I love it
Awesome to hear, Mandizole 🤗
Good Job. Love the Combination of darker exterior Tones and the lighter ones inside. ❤
Glad you like it!
Great channel, best camera man, beautiful homes what other reason do I need to watch every single video you post🔥😮💨
Well, thank you for saying those kind words 🤗
Thank you for mentioning the Architect.
100% - I know it’s not always possible - either owners actually don’t know themselves, or the agents never checked. We learn every day 🤗
Another excellent offering, this channel keeps giving.
Thanks for saying those kind words, Luzuko. Glad to hear you’re enjoying my updates 🤗
How did I miss this one??? I'm kicking myself in the foot, but I thoroughly enjoyed this tour!❤
Sorry - just saw this comment.
Glad you liked it - I'm hoping to get Jen on another tour soon!
Wow, the lights.
Yessss those ceilings 🥰
The open bathroom is a dealbreaker . I will never understand the concept.
I hear you - it’s a love/hate relationship with that open concept. Luckily, quickly to be solved ie half-way wall or glass section 🥰
"dealbreaker" he says
@ThatoKotlhai 🤣
@@TatoKo798 is something wrong with me saying it's a dealbreaker for me
Me too I don't understand open plan bathrooms at all.
Absolutely stunning home.❤
It would be even more exquisite if the furniture was modern.
Glad to hear you enjoyed the tour with Jen!
I totally agree, Palesa - a more modern version would have done a world's difference!
Outstanding. More from this architect

Truly stunning lights everywhere 😎

We showed the garages, no?
Incredible masterpiece
Exactly my thinking!
9/10 ❤❤ it could be a 10/10 if the pool was a little bit bigger 😊😊 but otherwise it very good 👍
100% agree

I'll take it 🤝
Likewise!
How does one purchase the house plan please?
Thanks for stopping by. I'd suggest reaching out to the architects - CIMATO MOROLDO ARCHITECTS who will be able to assist.

Sure thing, Junior - next time, check the video description as I always try to put as much info there.
