Useful to know. I used an old power unit from a PC. They need a simple rewire on an output to give 12 volts but there a e loads of YT videos how to do it. Been running my diesel heater from one for a year.
You can do this with a PC power pack two but just make sure it says the input is AC and that the output is DC because otherwise it’s not gonna work if it’s AC to AC the output Hass to be DC alternating current because otherwise the diesel heater is just going to run and then as soon as it fires up the fan blade is going to shut off and then you’re gonna lose power to the whole entire thing and then it’s gonna turn back on and it’s just gonna continue doing that so make sure y’all have the output DC current
The Chinese pH draws over 10amps on start up on some models so you just need the 12v with a draw of up to 15amps be wary as those xbox converters do sometimes fail
Don't use anything that is cheap & Unreliable because if it stops working or if you have a power cut for only two seconds & Don't have a battery back up you can say goodbye to your diesel heater , The diesel heater has to do a turn off cycle where it turns on the glow plug & heats up the burn chamber to burn off all the diesel in the chamber then it turns the fan on to run very quickly to cool down the camber before it closes down , If it has not done this it can damage the motherboard & other parts .
A Microsoft power supply I would say is far from unreliable than the stuff which is out there, but saying that what is reliable these days and I do agree with you if you live in a place which has regular power cuts is to have a battery. But this video wasn't about that.

Thanks for commenting
That was my thought. You just have to jump the two wires to turn it on. I think even a standard one puts out like 15 amps or more of 12v
Add tumble dryer sheets to outlet smells amazing
Good one, I was going to score a power supply
I've got a few lying around

I get a error 2, wich means it get a bit of overvoltage, but it starts the second time i switch it on

Gday, do you think the Xbox 360 power pack with 12v 12.6 amps output do the job without problem?
Thanks for any advice

Gday sport. Sorry but I carnt say. All I can say is buy a second hand one and try.
Sounds like enough amps on dc side try it . Mine is 14 amps on dc side and works just fine .
just seen this Si....... great idea!!!!
❤
How about the pc charger ??
Sorry I can't say because I've not tried one.
WHY TF does it take so long to explain something so simple?
