He married out of desperation. His mates were married etc. He panicked and picked the ugliest girl he’s gone out with. She has the personality of a loo brush.

Jamie, thanks for sharing your wonderful mumma here. I lost my mumma at Christmas and the chat you just had with Penny was so comforting because those are the chats I would have with Maureen. This was like a huge cuddle and so comforting to feel the joy and confidence that comes from having a rock to anchor you in life. Rock on Penny! More of Penny and Sophie together with you please! ❤

I am 59 and saw my son get married on August 24th so could really relate to your mumsy. And I too have a great sense of humour and like your mum do not shy away from speaking the truth. My son and I have a very close, honest relationship and make eachother belly laugh whenever we meet up.

Wow are we really laughing at childhood neglect, narcissistic abuse , or am I missing something ? They are happy now I guess and that's the main thing. This does explain a lot of Jamie's previous f'd up behaviour before he settled down. He always came across as loving but f'd up. Good to see them having a laugh.
