I think I would fall out in the floor if I ever walked into your mind blowing stamp room! I understand that it is your job. But still it is a dream to many of us! Just a dream! You really are exceptional! Truly! You might even get tired of hearing that and become desensitized, but it is really an amazing gift you have been given. I’m sure it’s still work sometimes, but Jennifer you do such a wonderful job! Thank you for all you do for us out here! I am grateful! God bless you!
Thank you so much for mentioning the compatibility between foil press machines and die cutters. Gosh, it just never came to mind, and I almost purchased a Spellbinders unit but my die cutter is Gemini Jr. Wheeeew... that was close. Thanks again :)
I can't tell you how much better I feel after watching this video and seeing you foil the shim that's on the hot plate. If even the craft maven JMc does it then I don't feel so embarrassed for doing it too. 🥰
Love the stunning look of the foiled pieces. That's just amazing. And your ideas are always so inspiring to me and the crafting community. Thanks for showing us all these options. 😘😘😘
Wow, Jennifer, your skills & creativity know no bounds. And to share it with us is so generous. One day I'll have the coveted Glimmer machine...one day! Thank you so much.
The cards you made with Vellum and Acetate are absolutely gorgeous! I have wanted to buy a foiling machine for a while and now I think you have made up my mind with your creations today. You are so gifted and generous.
I have the foil machine on my wish list but I'm wondering at my age if it is worth it....I do love the foiling look I guess I'll have to admire the foiling cards that you share with us.....well done Jennifer
Oh! This is sooo cool! I can use my Tim Holtz dies using the black toner paper! I can foil and stamp over it and then cut with my matching dies! This will greatly expand the use of my stamps and dies, for sure! Thanks for your amazing ideas!
Wonderful cards Jennifer! I love the looks of foiling on the acetate. So classy. I am saving up, for getting the spellbinders foiling system. On your recommendation (a few years ago) I bought the platinum 6 and I just love it. I use it so often. And I have had my eye on the hot foil system, ever since you showed it in your video's. I like the quality, from what I can see of course, so yeah.... Thank you for sharing your ideas
You show such an array of techniques with not just coloring, dies, stamping, etc. But also just card sizes, orientations, colors, envelopes! I don’t know how you fit all that plus the millions of techniques and variations in you head!!!!! How do you sleep Jennifer?
Beautiful! To use the Glimmer machine with dies cut and foil. And then the cut machine: can be use SIZZIX or SPELLBINDERS cut machine? I love the Glimmer foil machine. Or is there a way to make with foil. Please advise.
Hi Jennifer.. I always love your videos.. I wondered if you know whether there is a hot foil machine that works with Anna Griffin's Empress die-cutting machine. I love my Empress, and hate to buy another machine, but I love the hot foil plates. Thanks
These are all beautiful cards, especially the acetate. I seem to recall your using a cold foiling machine but I can’t seem to find the video. Can you help?
Jennifer - These cards are beautiful. However, I made the decision years ago to NOT go with a hot foil plate because the dies are so limited to that type of machine only. I just couldn't see the financial justification. So I foil using a laminating machine, like most do. Can you please, please, PLEASE figure out how to do this clear technique with that medium??? You are a crafting genius, and I would be ever-so thrilled to be able to do this.
i am not sure the acetate can handle the heat of the laminator. also the die would not fit thorough sorry! They are two completely different techniques. :)
Stampin up. Now what? I started almost 20 years ago and there weren’t all these places. So one of the very few was stampin up. I really don’t like some of the things they do like adding and then taking away colors, nor do I like their mostly detailed stamps. But I have a ton invested. So I have a sissix big shot. There is no foiling machine for that so what do I use? They also don’t make ink stands either. I find that the industry is not thoughtful with regard to stampin up when they make products. For ppl like me that want to switch but can’t do to the large investment in inks, cardstock, markers, etc, this can be a frequent problem. I rarely buy from Stampin up anymore and it’s not a problem MOST videos, tips, suggestions. But it can be. Please remember those of us that have SU when it comes to your fantastic tips and suggestions. Thank you Jennifer for sharing such immense talent. You are loved and respected highly! ❤️🙏🏻
Most of videos work with varieties of stamps and dies, so hopefully other videos help! I never really used much stampin up... I like to mix and match all the companies. what do you mean the industry isn't thoughtful when they create products? Most companies create their own products and can be mixed and matched well. Also, as for the sizzix machine and hot foiling - i would search on youtube. i bet someone has figured it out. i dont have a sizzix machine anymore. good luck! :)
No glimmer machine, or any hot foiling machine, do you think deco foil would work with transfer gel and a laminator? I have a hard time getting a nice foiled image on cardstock, trying vellum or acetate seems tricky.
I did something like that. Inspired by this video, I stamped the image with Altenew Obsidian Black and then took a picture of the image and transferred it to my computer. Then I printed it out on my toner printer and ran it through my laminator with gold Deco Foil. it came out beautifully! It takes some time to learn which images do well with this technique - Spellbinders does that work for you! But I am thrilled with how it came out.
If I don't have a hot foil plate yet would it be possible to buy the stamps and stamp with versamark and put foil over the top running through my Big Shot machine?
Omgoodness! These are all so beautiful! I don't know if you know everyone in the craft world, but do you know what happened to Elaine from Marker Geek? She hasn't had any new videos, I think since Christmas. Thank you!
haha yes this is different. if you want to use a laminator instead, you use a different foil, such as Deco foil. I have a playlist with LOTS of foiling methods, including the laminator: ua-cam.com/play/PLTuV6i1nUI6RCPtCsMeDIln1BP4NR20tp.html This is just another option and another way our stamp companies are bringing us innovative products! :)
What brands of colored cardstock do you find foil best? I’ve been doing some foiling but find it tricky to get good results with some colored cardstock. The cardstock you used in the first card seems to have foiled really well. Thank you!
You are right that it can sometimes be trickier with colored cardstock if they aren't smooth enough. There isn't any particular brand that works better. I think it's a matter of trial and error. If anyone has suggestions on what they have found I hope they will chime in
Must the die be a “hot foil” die - or can regular cutting dies be used? I just got a Glimmer machine. Anxious to get it up & running. Thank you for sharing!!!
I think I would fall out in the floor if I ever walked into your mind blowing stamp room! I understand that it is your job. But still it is a dream to many of us! Just a dream!

Thank you so much!! Your ideas are so helpful! I never get tired of watching your videos!! 😀😀
I hope you and Lila feel better soon.
9:00 WOW! Beautiful cards! Thanks for sharing.
Anything Jennifer does makes me want to own!!!! Want one too!
Dear Pink Fresh and Jennifer--you're killing me! ha ha Love the beautiful cards and stamps...alas no glimmer machine. :(
PinkFresh is amazing
Jennifer, this is so stunning and elegant. Tfs
Thank you so much for mentioning the compatibility between foil press machines and die cutters. Gosh, it just never came to mind, and I almost purchased a Spellbinders unit but my die cutter is Gemini Jr. Wheeeew... that was close. Thanks again :)
Those acetate cards are BEAUTIFUL!!
I have been continplating getting a foil machine and this makes me want it even more!
I can't tell you how much better I feel after watching this video and seeing you foil the shim that's on the hot plate. If even the craft maven JMc does it then I don't feel so embarrassed for doing it too. 🥰

Oh! This is sooo cool! I can use my Tim Holtz dies using the black toner paper! I can foil and stamp over it and then cut with my matching dies! This will greatly expand the use of my stamps and dies, for sure! Thanks for your amazing ideas!
that would be great!
Really great information... I just purchased my glimmer machine and am having so much fun adding foil! TFS
So marvelous Jennifer thank you so much for your video and sharing. My preference is the peonies shaker with acetate. Have a very good day
Love this. I have the Cricut foiling system. I don’t know if I can do anything with it - will have to try something.
Wonderful cards Jennifer! I love the looks of foiling on the acetate. So classy.
I am saving up, for getting the spellbinders foiling system.

23:28 Another beautiful cards. How do you come up with so many great ideas?
You show such an array of techniques with not just coloring, dies, stamping, etc. But also just card sizes, orientations, colors, envelopes! I don’t know how you fit all that plus the millions of techniques and variations in you head!!!!! How do you sleep Jennifer?
Awesomely Beautiful ❣️
Thanks 🤗
Love these! Some really good ideas!
Absolutely gorgeous
In case anyone was wanting to know Hobby Lobby has the Glimmer Hot Foil machine on sale for $74.99 today. Just ordered mine.
Beautiful cards!!!
Thank you as always Jennifer. Awesome video! Does anyone know what pen type tool she's using for the embellishments on the butterfly?
Sooo many great ideas! I am off to shop… 🥰
Awesome, thank you for sharing
Beautiful cards! I regret that I don't have money or space for a foiling machine.
Also, do you ever use the negative image on the foil and if so how?
Pinkfresh now has a solid plate for the negative transfer of foil. Jennifer McGuire has a UA-cam on it.
I have a stampin up die machine....can I use any of the foil machines with it????
Beautiful! To use the Glimmer machine with dies cut and foil. And then the cut machine: can be use
SIZZIX or SPELLBINDERS cut machine?
I love the Glimmer foil machine. Or is there a way to make with foil. Please advise.
I want to spellbinders die cutting machine. But I want it to go on sale, it’s hard to do all the stuff on the budget
BEAUTIFUL!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️🦋
Hi Jennifer.. I always love your videos.. I wondered if you know whether there is a hot foil machine that works with Anna Griffin's Empress die-cutting machine. I love my Empress, and hate to buy another machine, but I love the hot foil plates. Thanks
Not that I know of.
These are all beautiful cards, especially the acetate. I seem to recall your using a cold foiling machine but I can’t seem to find the video. Can you help?
not sure which video that was. here is my foil playlist with lost of options ua-cam.com/play/PLTuV6i1nUI6RCPtCsMeDIln1BP4NR20tp.html

Couture creations go press and foil works well with my sizzix machine. Hth….
You can use the glimmer with your sizzix big shot. That’s what I have too!
I use a Go Press and Foil machine with my Sizzix Big Shot Pro. Works great with awesome results.

Yes and yes

Have you ever done a video on Stamp Kissing?
I sure have! www.jennifermcguireink.com/2019/09/made-in-minutes-kissing-technique.html
If I don't have a hot foil plate yet would it be possible to buy the stamps and stamp with versamark and put foil over the top running through my Big Shot machine?
Sorry, that won't work for the foil
Omgoodness! These are all so beautiful! I don't know if you know everyone in the craft world, but do you know what happened to Elaine from Marker Geek? She hasn't had any new videos, I think since Christmas. Thank you!
sorry, i don't think i know her
Can these products be used with a laminator or do I need a larger craft space to accommodate another machine and it's materials? 😲

JENNIFER, what's the name of the pink tape that you use on your dies or stencils, and where can i buy it? Love all your videos!

Wondering if I can use Cricut Foil Quill foil?
sorry, i don't know anything about it
Can the hot foil plates be used with the Gemi I Jr. Hot foiling machine
yes
What brands of colored cardstock do you find foil best? I’ve been doing some foiling but find it tricky to get good results with some colored cardstock. The cardstock you used in the first card seems to have foiled really well. Thank you!

Those butterflies are amazing! Do you throw away the foil after using it once or is there a way to reuse it?
you can use the negative space foil on a card! just cover cardstock with adhesive and lay the foil leftover on it and leave it there.
@@jennifermcguireink Cool!
Terrific.
I use mine with my vagabond and it works well.
Must the die be a “hot foil” die - or can regular cutting dies be used? I just got a Glimmer machine. Anxious to get it up & running. Thank you for sharing!!!
i show how to do that in this video: ua-cam.com/video/UmX1hXh5vC4/v-deo.html
Thank you that’s investing
Beautiful cards!
