Great review Nique, analytical and thorough from a Performer's perspective which is a huge bonus. Major props to Mr le Val and the 1914, the man who comes up with a new, natural and motivated "peek" will certainly get a following.
But - the man who comes up with a NEW natural and motivated rationale for writing something down and putting it in your wallet will certainly start a Religion.

The "peek" reminds me a lot of the "peek" of the Nexus wallet, which I actually find better and more beautiful. The card to wallet is also better with the Nexus (not the method but the reveal). The only thing I miss about the Nexus wallet is the Himber function :-(
I have had two Nexus, and they both came away at various stitched seams; the metal clip caused damage. Great wallet just needs remaking in good leather and stitching; it's a shame, both went back to the dealer.

This is the most in depth review that I've seen for this wallet and it made me realize that I'd rather keep using my FPS wallet or my Quiver wallet, since I mostly use it for CTW and even tho the methods are similar, the reveals look better.

Great, extremely in-depth review-- I pre-ordered the Orphic Plus from Penguin weeks ago-- waiting for it to ship. I am not interested in the peek at all-- but the other things it offers --- including the switch---sounded too good to pass up. I love doing CTW and am decent at Copping a card off to get into a wallet-- although I'm not as smooth as that DPS you pulled off!!! Very nice!!--but the Orphic Plus seems to make it even easier. Looking forward to receiving mine and really loving your thorough reviews. Thanks!!!

Excellent review, Nique. The most detailed review of the Orphic I've seen so far. Every feature is covered in depth which i guess will help people decide whether this wallet is for them. The way you describe the peek, it sounds pretty similar to the Shadow wallet, while recognising the ID window for the Shadow is on the outside of the wallet where as for the Orphic it's on the inside. Is this a fair comment? Anyway top review.

I bought both sizes of Orphic. Personally I think I’ll mainly use the Orphic business card size as my main wallet since I’m not planning to do card to wallet. I mainly want to use it for the great peek

Do you think the Orphic can fit a medium Bonsalope? If so, using the Rebel CTW wallet load system won't require any tabs.

Thanks for watching; just decide based on the features of the wallet. No sense in getting something that has features that you won’t use! You already know the features for both of them, so just focus on what you need, as opposed to what you want.
Which wallet is the best for confabulation?
I had to have this wallet the first time I saw it, and finally, I have ordered orphic+ and can't wait to get my hands on it!
Just one concern and qusetion : how is the fact that you're using a wallet in a mentalism routine justified?
In a card routine you can just perform CTW in the mid of your routine and the use of the wallet is pretty much justified, but in case of mentalism, putting the card or billet that contains information back into the wallet still seems a bit awkward to me.
Does the lecture address these concerns?
To heck with the wallet, how'd you do that card trick with the 4 aces?
Kinda let down that the regular Orphic was advertised as being able to do the no palm card to wallet, then finding out here a card won’t even fit in the hot slot. Already pre ordered the regular size.

It will take those items; not specifically designed for it but they will work.

Great review......just one question do you think its possible to do the card to wallet without using a guide using the plus wallet ?
I did try and it can be done, however you’d need to be quite careful as it could very easily go into the other pockets. You’d have to feel, aim and start with a corner of the card for better accuracy.

Only studio performances of the routines taught by Craig Petty. Lewis only gives verbal descriptions of his applications.
Great review but owning many peek wallets etc I see nothing revolutionary about the peek on this wallet as said on the trailer. I will be sticking with my stealth assassin and shadow wallet far superior. Take care bud
I don't have the Stealth, but I do have the Shadow wallet and the Peek on the Orphic is SO much better. The fact that their card is in a pocket on the outside of the wallet, but you can peek it on the inside thru the leather, and thru all of the stuff in the ID window, it's just brilliant! Whereas with the Shadow wallet, well, you can't even turn the wallet over without exposing the peek.
I'm excited to get the Orphic+ and use at as my EDC wallet. All the reviews are amazing. Thank you for such an in-depth review.
