We climbed the Bicentennial tree this time last year. We are both 65 and i have had bypass surgery a year earlier. It was great and the view from the top fantastic.
That’s amazing Mark. I would love to have climbed it but being petrified of heights is not fun. Maybe one day I’ll be back if I can get over being petrified of heights 😂 have a great week 👍🏻
Beautiful place 😊Awesome content 👏, Bob loving the grass 👌 Nice drinks 🍸 😋 scenery and the trees were beautiful 😍 thanks for sharing and Greetings from south africa 🇿🇦

Did you get to visit The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk and Giant Tingle Tree out of Walpole next along from Denmark ? Unreal trees and drive through the forests .
Elephant Rocks drone footage was spectacular 😁 rain rain and more rain ☔ that’s life I guess Keep Bobbin along 👍 OH I hope ya do t get Canna-Busted with the Vodka hahaha Man ! Tope efforts you two on this episode 🙌🙌
Thanks Paul! Yes Elephant rocks was speckie! I cannimagine what otnwould be like in the sun! All good on the cannabis vodka. We have had a fair but if rain but have managed to work around it. Give you have a great week and thanks for your support as always!
Interesting set up with the others the boat up right on roof on trailer and the motor hanging off the back , man to think im worried about a heavy roof top tent up there and swaying me around , how do they go dos it affect the vehicle it must sorely must , but magic having boat all set up and ready to go tho 😀
In the drone footage of the top of your van one off your solar panels looks crooked. First of your videos I've watched so not sure if it's coming off or always been like that. I just came from a trip down at Denmark. Think I might have seen you or just your travel buddies. I remember the tinny not being upside down on the roof which is quite unusual.
Yes 100% that was us. Their tinny is the right way up! Yes the crooked solar panel lol it drives Feryck insane. Was installed that way around an aerial. Good pick up! Hope you enjoyed your trip to Denmark!
$11 dollars a schooner 😢 and thats at the cellar door 😮 wow $22 to have 2 little schooners , tell them their dreaming , sadly ill just keep driving past thanks for the heads up guys
great ep, too cant believe that tree is still be able to climb. no insurance obviously to cover climbers. oh, the sound quality when in the car talking isnt the best again. safe travels guys.
You had me at wine and cheese. You are correct. You can't let the weather stop you. In fact it is snowing here today - zero degrees. Have a great week.
Wow snowing! That must be gorgeous! Hope the indoor fire is burning and you are enjoying a copy day on the couch! Thanks fornyour support Janice and gope you have a great week!
Thanks guys. We were there about 4 weeks ago! Would have loved to meet up. Alot of people have reached out from the Bunbury area so we all have to make another trip through that way!
Another great Vid guys, and very glad you enjoyed what Pemberton had to offer..I was born there many years ago and the tree you climbed was named after a former Deputy Premier of our great state, and who prior to that was an English teacher at the Manjimup Senior High School ( just up the road)........And FYI.... D....about the rain....we find it generally happens about this time every year here, so we are truly sorry about that....haha..When next you come back to visit, may I suggest December to April for this part of the world .Keep up the good work, and travel safe.....
I’ve been to that tree, initially thinking about trying the climb up. I took one look at the “ladder” and noped out of there! Hoping the weather turned for you and you get to spend a quality few weeks in the SW corner - so much to see and do there.
Thanks Grant! Yeas the ladder had apparently just been "re-pegge" but it is certainly an eye opener! The weather sadly didn't get any better but we still had a great time.... hope you have a great week!
The weather might have not been great but wow you definitely made the most of your wonderful adventures. I can’t wait too you start moving further along the W.A coast . Stay well and safe travels.
Thanks Phoenix, yes make hay while the sun doesn't shine in this case. We still managed to enjoy it and excited about heading further north! Hope you have an amazing week!
We are heading up north in the second half of this year from Melbourne to Cape York going inland on way up and coast back down, do you have a preferred route and also all the things to see and do that are a must ? we love following your adventures and would like to see and do as much as possible in 3 months. TIA Sally & Peter
Hi guys that is exciting news! There is honestly so much to see and do it is impossible to do it all! Deryck and I both have different favourites. Let us know what areas you are doing and we can let you know the most impressive (in our opinion). Also of you are travelling without a dog there are more options for you. Everything we show in our videos are our top pics (that we are able to visit with dog in tow) and we only really travel full time on weekends as I work full time Mon to Fri.
Thanks so mich for the feedback. Yes spot on! South African.... we are from the Easterb Cape in South Africa and English speaking South Africans so sometimes sounds a little Kiwi
Nice video as always.
Love the Vodka and would love to taste that.
Thanx guys and give Mr Bob a extra scratch from us.
Cheers
Johnny&Rene
Thanks guys, extra scratch was just received! 😅 thanks as always for your feedback and support!
Another great video, how big is that tree 😮
I like you Sue only went quarter way. Plenty enough 👏
Ahaj yes, quarter was enough for me. Well done to those that go all the way up! It is enormous!
We climbed the Bicentennial tree this time last year. We are both 65 and i have had bypass surgery a year earlier. It was great and the view from the top fantastic.

Wow well done guys
That is amazing! I can imagine the view is incredible. It is a long way up!
We went to Ducketts at the beginning of the year. A lovely place, and the platter and wine were awesome 🧀 🍷 😊
🙌🏻🙌🏻😁😁
Thanks for another great episode as always. Every time I see that tree I’m amazed at how it is still open and allowed to be climbed. 😮
Thank you. We said the exact same thing about the tree. With health and safety laws in Oz and that’s still open.
Another great episode- love a good sparkling Shiraz
Thanks Charlotte 😊 great to jear from you and appreciate the feedback. Hope you jave a great week and a Shiraz or 2 on the weekend 😉
Love your vids ! Love the way you guys show caravanning warts & all !! Safe travels and enjoy our beautiful state 🌟
Ahah thanks Chris. Jave to show the warts and all. It's not always easy sailing and perfect conditions or experiences! Have a great week!
Sue looked so happy on that wine and cheese episode lol. Can’t wait until we get our van and head over too :-)
100% was over the moon. 2 of my 3 favourite things! It is an amazing lifestyle and I highly recommend the area for the wineries 😊
Sue definitely was in her element at the wine and cheese shop.
Beautiful place 😊Awesome content 👏, Bob loving the grass 👌
Nice drinks 🍸 😋 scenery and the trees were beautiful 😍 thanks for sharing and Greetings from south africa 🇿🇦
Thank you mate. Glad you enjoying the content and hope we can continue the great episodes. Have an awesome week and thank you again for the constant support 😁🙌🏻
I love a good Shiraz but I don’t think Sue had missed much by never having a sparkling. 😂
You weren't wrong David. First 2 sips were good but then the Toothpaste wore off and I realised it was just wrong! 😂
Nice vid guys , the view from the top of the tree is wicked we done it 25 odd years ago, no fees or buildings and stuff there then 👍
Thank you. Wow, we would have loved to climb it but being petrified of heights is a big problem 😂 have an awesome week 🙌🏻
Did you get to visit The Valley of the Giants Tree Top Walk and Giant Tingle Tree out of Walpole next along from Denmark ? Unreal trees and drive through the forests .
Unfortunately we missed that but we will be back more prepared with dog sitters booked and accommodation organised 👍🏻

Elephant rocks on a good day would be so amazing but we still had a great time there. Vodka actually is pretty good 😁

Hi David, they have donenit really well. Obviously affects fuel consumption but otherwise perfect set up if you have the right vehicle for the load!

Thanks Jadin really appreciate it. Will let Deryck know about the sound quality. Always good to know where to omprove! Yes that tree is next level 😮
Boulders remind me of Tasmania.
Wow we are looking forward to Tasmania. Yes looks very similar from what I have seen of Tassie!
I’m dead scared of heights but made the climb to the top late late year! Sh!t myself at the top!!!
That’s amazing Richard. There was no ways I was climbing that tree 😂 maybe one day 😁
@@justvanningit I didn’t look down once - even when I was at the top

Yea, look the tree was definitely not my thing(Deryck) as I am extremely scared of heights. I’m sure the view would be amazing from the top
Thanks for another great video guys.
You welcome. Thank you for watching and supporting us 😁
Thanks Tony. Hope you have a great week@
If you are still in the area, don't go past the Ferguson Valley and Collie area without having a look. Welcome to the south west of WA 👍
Thanks mate for the info 👍🏻 have a great week

Ahahha yes, right! So funny. I can confirm you can drink it and that there are no additional side effects 😊
The brewery was epic. Would love a place like this
It was pretty gorgeous😍
Im Australian and I've been trying to pick your accent for a while.........South African? In any case, enjoy yourselves here. interesting vids.
Thanks so mich for the feedback. Yes spot on! South African.... we are from the Easterb Cape in South Africa and English speaking South Africans so sometimes sounds a little Kiwi
Going up is one thing but coming down would spook me out.
Sorry but I’m with you there is no way I would climb that tree.
Yip. My legs went week when I just looked up at the top of the tree
