what type of perm products did she use. cause if i would use my perm products with these tiny rollers , the hair would be too curly. i want to get this wavy effect

As an asian with very straight and coarse hair that is relatively well versed in hairstyles (had multiple perms). I don't recommend it for most people.
1. It is generally extremely expensive.
2. It damages your hair (leaving it porous) and it is generally not recommended to use bleach on permed hair. Therefore limiting your choices in styles
3. Your roots regrow exactly like your natural hair and it looks very weird if your perm isn't very loose waves if you have straight hair. If you want to maintain its look and volume effect, you would need to redo it every 3-4 month approximately.
4. The perm itself doesn't style itself automatically. As silly as it sounds, you would most likely still need to used the blowdrier, rollers sets or flat iron curls EVERY DAY for it to look nice.
The only benefit from a perm is that it looks good when you are traveling to a humid/ hot or rainy place as your hairstyle can literally survive the whole day FLAWLESSLY without the need of heavy product. In general after you style your permed hair in the morning and add a bit of product you can just dance, run or do whatever and it would still look nice.
I just think it isn't worth the cost if it would take the same amount of effort to style my hair without a perm with the added hair damage, limitations and cost especially if I don't live in a humid place, do not care how my hair looks when I work out or often have events to attend that last more then 8 hours

We have the same perm!! I go to a Japanese salon and they call it “bodywave perm,” but I see the process is almost identical. I get it done every 3-4 months. Costs an arm and a leg, but so worth it!
@@crustboy377 an arm and a leg, but you can always choose the left one or the right one. if you run out, kidneys work as well.
My hair is naturally like this, and I'd say, straighten hair is like 5x easier to take care and looks better(for me atleast).
I mean, it's so hard to keep the hairstyle in my hair, it's gone after some hours.
Same it just gets ruined when I wake up after sleeping, no matter what I do.
@@Poo69420 For real dude, I got the same problem, and a way I found to fix it, is by washing my hair (which is bad because I don't like washing it every day)
I also sometimes sleep with my mom's "satin bonnet", it makes my hair better in the next day, you should try doing it, may help you too
